Hello everyone, it is here longusername and today am reviewing the new minecraft snaspshot enjoy!
update to the ocean:
so as i noticed in the new snapshot did a really huge update to the ocean , however it is still not we wanted and expected .so the update to the ocean include new terraform in the ocean, also gravel now covers most of the ocean floor , so you won't worry about getting gravel anymore :) also another thing is the fish as there are 4 more kinds of fish now, however they are not in a form of mob as everyone asked for but they are only obtainable as an item by using the fishing rod , so they pretty much like the original fish here is a list of the new fish kinds:
-Salmon
-cooked salmon
-puff fish
-clown fish
New biomes:
So when i was going around my minecraft world in the latest update i noticed a weird stone shapes so as i saw this is the new biome which is like mountain shore with water falls and caves inside the mountain it self it is a nice idea , however it looks a little derpy
Alot of decoration:
so when i was going through my creative inventory i noticed a HUGE update to the decoration menu and it is now full of flowers YES! the new update contains more than 10 new kinds of flowers, some people may consider it something good while others would say it ruins there minecraftexperience, and i personally think that Mojang gave alot of attention to adding flowers as the number of flowers added is just crazy and they are all over the forest , also as well as flowers they added tall fern and double tall grass which i consider useless , but still awesome in decoration!
New blocks:
so as well as new decoration they also added 2 new blocks so far and they are Packed ice and Podzol and i actually wasn't able to figure out what any of them did , i first thought packed ice is a way to store ice , however i tried all crafting recipes i could possibly think of and none worked .packed ice is like ice with a slightly different texture!
Same as Packed ice , i also felt that podzol was useless as i didn't find anything special about it and it texture looked like grass and mycelium but with different colors.
New animation and secret settings!:
So when i was going around my minecraft world i jumped over a cliff and noticed something new which is a new particle system when you fall as there is a collide animation and particles go flying in all direction, also another thing when i went to the single player menu i noticed one button say secret setting i don't really know what is that , but i hope it will be an option to turn shaders on and off although this may cause massive lag
