Hey guys! I'm back and I'm here to simply give you a crap-load of information about minecraft fuels, most of which you may not have known.

Remember, diamond if you thinks it deserves it! :D

Burning Time: (seconds)

Coal = 80
Charcoal = 80
Log = 15
Planks = 15
Slabs = 7.5
Sapling = 5
ALL wood tools = 10
Pressure Pad = 15
Stick = 5
Fence = 15
Fence Gate = 15
Wood stairs = 15
Trapdoor = 15
Crafting table = 15
Bookshelf = 15
Chest = 15
Trapped Chest = 15
Daylight Sensor (Weird right?) = 15
Jukebox (If you read my other post, again, not a good idea (link at bottom) = 15
Mushroom Block = 15 (Big mushrooms = renewable fuel?)
Blaze Rod = 120
Block of coal = 800
Lava Bucket = 1000

Number of things each item can cook:

Coal = 8
Charcoal = 8
Log = 1.5
Planks = 1.5
Slabs = 0.75
Sapling = 0.5
ALL wood tools = 1
Pressure Pad = 1.5
Stick = 0.5
Fence = 1.5
Fence Gate = 1.5
Wood stairs = 1.5
Trapdoor = 1.5
Crafting table = 1.5
Bookshelf = 1.5
Chest = 1.5
Trapped Chest = 1.5
Daylight Sensor (Weird right?) = 1.5
Jukebox (If you read my other post, again, not a good idea (link at bottom) = 1.5
Mushroom Block = 1.5 (Big mushrooms = renewable fuel?)
Blaze Rod = 12
Block of coal = 80
Lava Bucket = 100

Amount to light a furnace all night:

Coal = 6.75
Charcoal = 6.75
Log = 36
Planks = 36
Slabs = 48
Sapling = 108
ALL wood tools = 54
Pressure Pad = 36
Stick = 108
Fence = 36
Fence Gate = 36
Wood stairs = 36
Trapdoor = 36
Crafting table = 36
Bookshelf = 36
Chest = 36

Daylight Sensor (Weird right?) = 36

If that block of coal thing is true, it's more efficient to use a block of coal then it is to use 9 pieces of coal, which is the same thing >.>

It is indeed true, it is slightly more efficient to use a block of coal then to use normal coal. Of course, in order to use a block of coal efficiently, you would have to have tons of stuff to burn, and be able to switch out the stacks as quickly as possible.
