Hey everyone! Want to know a great way to earn diamonds and make friends happy, with the only cost being written books?

Well, let me tell you how it works. For servers only. You know how a real lottery works? You pay money, millions of dollars are paid, the winnings are made out of the amount of tickets bought. Got that? Right, well we can adapt the same idea to a Minecraft Lottery. Get some books and sign them (you could write stuff inside them, like 'Good Luck' or something) with a number code e.g. 42-21-84-99 or something like that. Sell them for a set price, keep some of the buying price (eg. sell it for 10 diamonds and keep 5 as profit). The rest of the diamonds go into the pool. Obviously the more people buy, the more they can win and the more you can earn.

Best of all, the only thing you need to spend is leather, paper, ink and feathers! (To make books and quills if you're not catching on). Great right?

It all depends on how much you want to charge, how much you take and how much you give as winnings. You also need to consider how many books you will make and sell. You could even have a dispenser that dispenses coloured wool. If it's a certain colour, they will win double (of course with this you need to make sure that you're taking more than you are giving so as not to lose money!)
