Mod Spotlight - BuildCraft

Hai all ~ And welcome to a new series of blogs I'm starting. As the title suggests, I shall be making a few spotlights on various mods. Without further ado, on to the review ~
Brief Overview

Dig your way to the center of the earth with quarries, build your self a pipe empire, or even your very own diamond factory! With Buildcraft, you add quarries, pipes, engines, and much more mechanical wonder to your Minecraft worlds and servers! We're all about building advanced structures and mechanisms here, which would never be possible within the vanilla minecraft universe! The possibilities are endless and are just waiting for you to discover them ~ This mod supplies you with all your engineer needs and endless fun, all within the same game! A definite win, in my opinion! Now, on to the fun stuff ~

Mod Content

I feel the need to say: This mod has a lot of content, that being said, I will cover only the items I feel needed to be covered. If you wish you view every signle item available, follow the links at the end of this post.

Quarry - Boring... Or so you thought ~ With this amazing bit of machine, you can drill to the middle of the earth, create your very own chunk errors, and more! Being quite a high tier piece of machinery, it requires 11 diamonds, 8 gold ingots, and 13 iron ingots and more to craft. Coming at such a high cost, you would expect this thing to fly for you... Not exactly, but pretty close ~ It will mine a 9 x 9 area down to bedrock, or an area defined by landmarks!

Quarry Recipe, as of 2.2.x - kpjp

Mining Well - This rather simple, but semi costly recipe, will drill its way to the center of the earth time and time again. Not very useful, in my opinion, but it can be upgraded/converted to a pump. *read on*

Mining Well Recipe, as of 2.2.x - AOmB

Pump - The age of buckets has been brought to an end! With a cost similar to the mining well (You'll need one, to make one), its much more useful. Pump oil, water, or fuel to be used for your mechanical genuis ~ Namely to power your vast array of quarries!

Pump Recipe, as of 2.2.x - zYBti

Builders - Have you ever grown tired of building by hand? Then put your robot minions to use! With these, you can flatten land, build a house, or move a mountain!

Engines - How else are you to power your mechanical army? There are three different tiers of engines available, names found on the offiacl website; Mechanical(Wood), Steam(Cobble), and Combustion(Iron). You'll need at least Steam for quarries, and combustion for refineries and quarries. Anything else can use wooden engines or higher.

Pipes - The transportation of the future!.... Probably not. These simple, for the most part, pipes are used for two reasons. 1, to transport items and blocks. 2, to act as a sorting system.

Refinery - Used to make fuel 'nuff said.

Feel free to check the youtube links for a much better idea of what these items do.

And lastly, I would like to thank you for the views ~ Please subscribe, give a diamond, and/or favorite if you liked this, thanks a bunch ~ Last, last thing: If you have a mod you want me to spotlight, let me know in the comments!

This is off topic but, Thanks for locking that thread. Some people are just strait out ass holes who dont care about what people believe. That thread was very offensive to me.

Yogbox is great, in my opinion. But it is horribly incompatible with any other mod, and I know for a fact, it will not work with this.
