Well, I don't want this to be a normal "Hey wouldn't it be cool if there were obsidion tools?", "I wish diamonds were made out of cool...". No. This mod wouldn't be one of those ideas. This mod would not make diamonds out of a couple pieces of coal, or a piece of coal. This would allow you to not have to mine for days in real life just to get a few diamonds and then not getting enough for the tool you need! This would allow you to change the game, without mining what feels like forever! However, you would still have to mine, but for something more common. This would allow you to get ahead faster and more convenient.

Why It Would Help

Have you ever found so much iron but so little gold or diamonds? This mod would let you turn iron into gold, and gold into diamonds! Yet it wouldn't be as easy as dirt. You would still have to mine blocks upon blocks of iron to make gold. And not just in any order. Perhaps have a certain order of a chemical bond or *lewis dot structure. And the samething with making diamonds, making blocks of gold in a certain order to make diamonds, same with emeralds. Maybe even if you smelt lapis lazuli blocks to make iron! This would inprove how gameplay expierience to a lot of people.

Concerns

However, I do have some concerns. First off, i'm afraid of how much of each ore/ingot you would get from each craft. If you got a block for each smelt or craft, you would easily be able to make a iron, gold, diamond, or emerald house. This would cause over power and potentially ruining gameplay.
