QUESTION of the blog:

Why aren't there mounts in Minecraft?

I think that there should be some actual mounts in Minecraft, the pig just doesn't cut it! In this blog I will be telling you why I think that mounts should be in Minecraft.

What is a Mount?

My Definition: A mount is a ride-able animal that will get you from point A to point B faster.

Dictionary: To sit on and control the movements of (a horse or other animal)

Why should there be Mounts?

A mount would help you get to places faster, instead of having to build minecarts everywhere.

Ideas of Mounts?

Horses
Dragons
Ender-Horses (able to teleport)
Cow
Sheep
Car (yes this does count as a mount)
Some sort of automatic vehicle

I googled the picture, im a WoW player myself, so i thought it would be fitting to have a WoW mount in the picture.

I put the pictures all together myself though.

You do understand that the reason mounts have not been added is that it involves coding how they move and the slope of Minecraft terrain is not made for mounts. They would only benefit you if you lived in the plains region.
