Why I use texture packs




Texturepacks create a new feel to Minecraft that the default pack can never achieve. They can make it a world of cartoons, or give it an RPG feel, or even make it a land of candies or creepers.




I use texture packs because the worlds of Minecraft with texture packs look so much better with them. Now don't get me wrong the default is a great pack, it just doesn't make Minecraft look as good as it can. Some of my favorites include Faithful, Inspiration, Ovo's Rustic, Sphax PureBDCraft, AI Pack, Legion crafted, and Wolfhound.




And I might use texture packs because my default pack is f***ed up

Faithful:




I like Faithful because it really captures the default style but at a higher resolution.





Inspiration:




I love inspiration because it has a unique style, I can't quite describe it, and I love the high resolution mob files (Yes I have them, no I'm not going to share them, because TobiwanK3nobi didn't give me permission).






Ovo's Rustic:




I absolutely love this pack to death, the stone brick texture is definitely the best of them all, but without a doubt this is the greatest pack ever. Just like Wolfhound the details in it are amazing and the over all style is just gorgeous.






Sphax PureBDCraft:




I like Sphax not just because it was the first HD pack I used but, because the cartoon style of this pack is mesmerizing and surprisingly detailed for a cartoon pack.






AI Pack:




I mostly like this pack for nostalgic reasons, when my default pack broke I went through (not kidding you here) hundreds of texture packs to find one that could replace default, and at the time this was the only good pack out there in the world so I used it from Beta 1.7 to Minecraft 1.1.






Legion Crafted:




I feel that this pack doesn't have as much popularity as it should have. It is a HD simplistic pack but with a lot of detail. I love the style of this pack and that is why it is one of my favorites.






Wolfhound:




Wolfhound is an amazingly detailed pack with manny manny styles in the customizer so there is very likely to be something that you will find interesting about this pack without a doubt.
