THIS IS JUST MY OPINION AND TO HEAR WHAT OTHERS THINK ABOUT THIS TOPIC
OK, so I was noticing that a lot of servers on PMC have been using the word "PvP" in their banners/titles/descriptions...I'm just confused on WHY they use these words cause the server are not REAL PvP yet "survival". I see a big difference in PvP and survival, such as that PvP is an abbreviation of player versus player. However, survival is more PvE since you don't even see people that often anyways. I just think that instead of saying that the ARE PvP, they should just say that they have it enabled. So that can make it easier to search for real PvP servers easily and affectingly(too many servers have PvP as a keyword and screw up the search).
So what I'm just trying to get at is...why say it's PvP? Its obviously just survival if its factions, another grief server to waste our time on. Only to have it all be griefed by a single person with TNT and Flint&Steel. I just want to see some legit PvP servers on PMC more often and be able to search through them instead of..."PVPCRAFT-FACTIONS-GRIEFING-(did we say survival?)-RAID-CUSTOM" Just pages and pages of wonderful new things in Minecraft instead of having to wait months after months for a new update that everyone would get used to after 2 weeks. There are some really good coders on Minecraft that don't even use their skill to create something that they know will be popular in less than a month. Even though I suck at coding, I would still give it a try. I would watch video after video until I know every step from beginning to end...

- Examples of my version of PvP is servers like...
- MCInfected
- MineZ
- Last Man Standing
- Counter-Craft
- Any other server that does not have the words "grief, survival, raid, factions"
- NON-examples are...
- basically every other server that doesn't have "direct" PvP.
- Examples of How PvP Servers Are Helpful
- Better at the game
- Knowledge on how to play it wiser
- Reaction skills increase
- More social
- More confident when going into a PvP battle(if you felt like playing survival)
- (need any in-depth explanation of these, please leave it in the comments and I'll try to answer it as soon as possible)
