The Material Plane

The material plane was created by Him before time began. He and She's children, Orden, Proizvodstvo, and Isorropia, allowed the Races to live here, where life is best sustained. The Material Plane is where our planet, Veut [voyt], is located, and where we spend our mortal lives. Veut has never been directly visited by the Gods, though they have kept close watch on us, their Children.

There are certain spots within Veut, however, that have been so scarred by the Mage War that they have cracks between the Material Plane, the Hellspawn Lands, and the Realm of the Damned. These spots are where Portals are either naturally created, or where portals can easily be created by the fools who know how. One can easily sense these pockets, and any sane Race would avoid these locations.

The Material Plane has many locations where the Hellspawn Lands have bled through Portals, rotting away the landscape and turning the entire region into an unsustainable pit of fire. These locations are nearly, though not entirely, impossible to restore to their former selves. The fabric between dimensions is still very torn in these spots and is still extremely dangerous, but it at least looks nicer and can begin to heal. Such a healing process normally takes around a millenium or two.

The Hellspawn Lands

The Hellspawn Lands were created as a counterpart to the Material Plane, housing all Demons and abomonations that failed to become proper Races. Spiteful of being such failures, they decided to use their incredible power, lifespan, intelligence, and hatred to trick Mortals into losing their souls.

Demons come in various shapes, sizes, and species. No matter the type, all demons will try and trick a mortal into a situation in which said mortal's God/Goddess would not be able to forgive them, causing the mortal's soul to be cast down into the Realm of the Damned. Such practices were far more common at the dawn of the world, when Demons were relatively unknown and were assumed to be the Gods themselves. Even today, mortals make this mistake and pay dearly for it.

The Hellspawn Lands themselves are ruins of fire and lava. The Demons have constructed fortresses within to house and protect themselves from powerful mortals who can survive the burning heat and imminent death and other demons who look to increase their own power.

The Realm of the Damned

The Realm of the Damned is where any souls rejected by the Gods are sent. They wait and wait until their soul becomes much like the others around: filled with regret and hatred for Mortals. Demons most often trick mortals into losing their Souls and play with them for eternity here, pitting them against one another in gladitorial combat.

Demons are not the sole reason that souls are condemned to here, however. Often, Mortals make bad choices and displease their God/Goddess, who in turn rejects them. Performing horrid acts in life or blasphemy against the God/Goddess are the most common reasons for this damnation.

This land, from what can be discerned from tales of those who apparently saw it and returned to the Material Plane, is an empty void with various bleak islands. It has twisted trees growing from the hard, stonelike ground that gives a barely edible fruit. Apparently, those who went in began to feel their souls becoming heavy, as if wanting to just wallow in self-pity forever. The tales speak of weaker members of their groups who never left and just remained there, presumably to become a Soul of the Damned just like those who died and were sent here.

Realm of the Gods

The Gods live in a realm beyond all others. You may call it what you wish, but the most accurate name would be to simply call it the "Realm of the Gods." It is here that all souls go after death before they are either accepted or rejected by a God (or Goddess, in Isorropia's case). Should the Mortal be seen as deserving, they are accepted into the Realm fully, where they remain for all eternity. As the Gods are all siblings, the souls of the deceased often interact with one another.

There have been no confirmed cases of Mortals traveling to the Realm of the Gods and returning to the material plane, though it is rumored that one had. This rumor says that he visits the Goddess, and rather often. Priests who tried to ask her if these were true were met with no response.
