As some of you may know, I created a nice little [Survival] Server today for people to play on. Quickly I realized it wasnt easy to maintain. First there are the whiners, then there are the beggars, and then worst of all, the Griefers.

Whiners and Beggars I can handle with a simple, sorry no. But griefers come in numbers. First, I was greeted with a friendly face, TehJamba. He tried to help me knowing I was a noob and I fell right into his trap. I then came quickly suspicious of another player, TeamEliteMC. I had several incidents with them as I expected with everyone. I caught him:
-Flying on Survival
-PvPing other players to the point I had to turn off PvP
-Sneaking around houses
-Etc

I would use certain commands to check his inventory and found, multiple times, sets of enchanted diamond items and a multitude of diamonds (39-40) These were confiscated.

Quickly, I became wary and made them builders (Because I was naive, I made them Mod for a while). The server then turned off when I had to leave. I came on again later to do some testing and updates. First I decided to see the progress my players were making. I walked into one player's house and found a pressure plate. It was by a door so it seemed obviously alright, right? I step on it and half the house explodes. I fixed it as much as I could remember and left notes. The suspect list? TehJamba, TeamEliteMC, and another player who got involved with them.
Soon after, TehJamba logged in and was right by the house that exploded. He acted extremely (overly) dumb about it by claiming he had no idea yadda yadda. As they say, the criminal always returns to the scene of the crime.

I then did some detective work and followed him so more. I checked his inventory again to find more diamonds and TNT. He claimed to have found it on the ground and that he didnt see the TNT. All was again confiscated and he was put on Probation. I snooped around him as he went back to his "base". He soon found me and acted dumb and nice to me again. Soon we separated again but I still didnt trust him. I teleported to him after around 5 minutes and appeared in a dark underground room with two large chests. With the plugin I installed, I discovered this area was claimed by TeamEliteMC. Because the chests were in the claim, I couldnt open them. I asked him questions and he said he and him were friends. I removed the claim, being the suspicious one I am, and found a extreme amount of Diamonds and Diamond Blocks, even some more TNT. He said he couldn't explain it and was immediately jailed. He said there was another base and if I just let him out for a while he would show me it. I refused. Soon he rage quit.

RIGHT after all of this, another player, jip[something] came on. I was suspicious as no one else had been coming on before this. I followed him for a while and patronized me. I asked him if he knew TehJamba and he obviously said no. I let him be after editing the jail a bit then checked his inventory and saw a pressure plate. I immediately teleported to him and saw him putting the pressure plate over 4 TNT blocks in another player's house. He played dumb and I jailed him. Quickly after he said "You made a big mistake b*tch" and the server was stopped.

So all in all, to all you griefers:
We noobs aren't as dumb as you think we are.
