I got an art pad, the day after christmas. (Not a gift just found it going through boxes and my dad told me I could have it) so, I was wondering how my first 2D art project is. WARNING** Quite bad but, it is my first ever art project. Rate from a scale of 1-10, and some ideas on how I can get better. Thank you. Also any ideas on some good fre mac programs compatible with drawing pads let me know. I have a BAMBOO Wacom pad.

Hmm... I would say it's on a 1-10 scale, for your first, probably a 4 or 5. But obviously, it's your first 2D drawing and I can't critic you alot. xP
I got a Wacom too, just a Intuos. It will be hard to get used to, trust me (I'm still struggling with mine). Just with the right software - hint, paint tool SAI hint hint - and pracice, it will come out really well. ;3

I ued the SAI PaintTool how does the image I just created look on a scale of 1-10 ?

Thank you :P And yes it is VERY hard to get used to sliding the painter/tool around the screen.

I got a graphics tablet, too! The drawing's good, seeing as its your first.
I noticed a lot of people use PaintTool Sai to draw but y'know..

Just started using it, I like it it is a good somewhat alternative to photoshop drawing but better because it's free :P

Use Adobe Photoshop if you want to create awesome 2D drawings. However, it's kinda expensive.
