Update....
Hey guys, its been 9 months, AWKWARD! I honestly haven't had any time to write crap but I have been playing. I'm just going through some changes, like going to a new school. But today I would like to talk about how parents and really adults should stop reacting so badly to violent video games and R movies, stuff like that. So lets jump in!
M Rated Games
Some parents even think minecraft is to violent! I mean honestly if you hurt anything no blood comes out. Minecraft helps your imagination by building. It's like this with M games. An example Halo. It's "guns" are lasers most of the time and they might say the s word a few times, or the f word mabye once. That's basically a PG-13 video game but you have to be 17 to buy it. If parents keep sheltering kids than they'll grow up to do more bad stuff they didnt get to do as kids. Personally it's hard to even get a lot of those first person shooter games, but what are parents gonna do? You'll probably go play it at a friends house or get it on XBOX live. The system for ratings doesn't work well because of this, there's no need to make those games M, which leads in to the next paragraph.
Rating System
Minecraft is rated E but some parents say it should be teen. All cause of a little sword fighting. First person shooters should be Teen because most teenagers and 20 year olds play it, and it's not that innapropriate, it's not like we haven't seen a action movie, we know what gun shots and blood squims look like. Most 9 year olds and up play these games but I heard that M.A.G. is trying to stop young kids to play them. But we all know that group is fake. But somewhere out there parents are fighting for kids do have to be a certain age to buy video games. It's kinda like the MPAA. They suck at rating movies. If a movie has more than one use of the f word, it's R. Just imagine the lion king with the F word twice and it's R. Soon the people who rate video games and the MPAA really need to change the rating system, how is minecraft almost TEEN?!
Thanks!
