When I first joined Minecraft I spent 2 hours searching in the snowy plains for a penguin. 'Why?" you might ask.

Squid

There were squids in the ocean! This lead me to believe there were penguins because penguins eat squid! This could also bring the players a new food, calamari!

Snow Biomes

There are perfectly fit biomes for a little penguin to live in.
this could also mean that we have arctic biomes

Polar Bears

There is another arctic animal in the snowy biomes, so why not have one more? However polar bears do eat penguins so they would need to be separate somehow

Fish

There are fish in the game! Fish could be used to tame the furry friends it could also be that only cod could tame the penguins so that it adds depth to the penguins

some penguins could like different fish as well

Types

There are so many different types of penguins that could be added to the minecraft world emperor, little blue,chinstrap, it would add variety to the new mobs

Drops

what would penguins drop? fish and feathers, penguins are birds just like the new parrots so they would drop feathers!

Meat?

I guess there could be penguin meat but I don't know if I would eat that, that sounds disgusting, maybe it could just be a simple passive mob, like a parrot.

What makes them unique?

You might think it would just be another boring bird but penguins don't fly. Apart from being a land mob, it would also add to the oceans of minecraft, there isn't a lot in the oceans yet
so it would be a cool change!
