100's of years ago, humans lived above the ground. there was a virtually infinite area of the planet. until, the world ended. volcanoes erupted, meteors struck, and there was a certain earthquake. that earthquake sent one group of people straight underground into a giant cave system. they then used the wreckage from buildings to rebuild homes, and a mine. they then planted one sapling, which grew into the last tree known for certain by the people to be alive. it is now the year 3239, which leads us to today.
