Plagiarism, the act of stealing another's work and claiming it to be your own. It exists, It is bad, and all that, It is everywhere, because we allow it to be. I got the idea to write this blog from the most stolen skins blog that is currently (as of 8/12/12) is features on the PMC homepage, just like what that blog says, just with general submissions. A while back, Rova hid all downloads for his submissions because of some idiot stealing them for his server, claiming he had no idea that Rova made them. What people who steal/edit and re-upload as their own don't notice is that IN REAL LIFE Plagiarism is illegal, you can be sent to jail for it, if you are in college, you can be expelled from college if you do it, you have to tell people, when applying for a job, that you are a plagiarist, which really doesn't look good for you. I know it's just minecraft, I know people steal things, I know I can't stop it, but the next time that you think of taking this skin, submission, project, or whatever, consider that stealing a creator's COPYRIGHT MATERIAL is infringement, and (in real life) is a federal crime.
