Pyro's First PMC Blog - How to be good at Everything (SPMT).

Understanding What I Mean.

This isn't a tutorial where you have to memorize a ton of things and learn Step-By-Step. This is a tutorial where I give you some tips on what to do to be good at everything.. I kinda hope you see the difference.

What I Will Talk About Today:

- What is the easiest thing to do for you?
- What is the hardest thing to do for you?
- Watching and Learning
- Finding What You Love.

Let's Get Started.

What is The Easiest Thing to do for you?

So, just like the question says, what is the easiest thing to do for you. One way to find this is by looking at others people work. See if you can do such and such. Of course, many people are different, so coding can be very simple for some people, but skinning can be also easier for people to do. It all depends on our personality, believe it or not.

Now, Some Notes To Take -

1. Look at Other People's Work.
2. Go In-depth (Not too Much, just Scan through each) into each unit. See how to do such and such.
3. After trying all 4 categories, list which one is the easiest.

Now, finding the easiest category may be really hard for some people. Many wish to become a Modder or Coder, but it's simply too hard for them. Some hate making Texture Packs, but are really good at it. They wish to do something else, but it's not possible. This just simply means that what you want to do doesn't fit what your, 'personality', if you say so. You may think you hate making projects, but in the end you have a true passion for it.

Some Notes To Take -

1. Go for the category that is the easiest, as listed above.
2. If you have a hard time trying to do something else, take a deep breath. It really works.
3. Do your best.

What is the hardest thing to do for you?

After checking out which is the easiest, you now have 3 more categories to choose from. This is the easiest part of the process, believe it or not. It's much easier then finding what is the easiest to do for you, especially for the lazy ones :). Still need some help on how to find the hardest category? Then here is a list that has 100,000% Guaranteed Tips that will work.

1. Choose the one you have the most stress with. If that doesn't work, do step 2.
2. See how much time it took to learn the category. (Some May Take Longer than others, but you know what I mean.)
3. If you know that you put a ton amount of focus on a category, then that will most likely be the hardest one.
4. If you sigh a lot on one category, then it's hard. If you do a ton of sighs, then you found your hardest.

After 2 or 3 minutes, you find out that you find the hardest one. But.. you shouldn't be happy at all, because you're going to have to go in-depth on that category later. Meh, I know that kinda sucks, but it's all part of the process. Think of it as School.

Do I do the easy task first or the hardest task first?

This kinda depends on your mood. If you're happy and you know it, do the hard first. If you're lazy and you know it, do the easy task first.

What I recommend though, is:
The Easy Task First.

No, the reason I recommend doing that is not because I think you're all lazy (probably :P). he reason why is because, it simply feels great. See, here's what I mean.

- You do the Easy Task first. You get it out of the way. Straight Forward.
- Blablabla, you do the middle stuff. Your reaction might be, meh, I think I can do harder.
- When you come to the hard part, you already have done all the other categories, and all you need to finish is the one you are struggling with the most. Think of it like a boss. Feels Like Motivation. Plus, while your working you get to put on some Rocky Music (Gonna Fly Now) or other stuff that pumps you up. Once you get it done, your reaction will be: I can't believe I just did that. Basically, it feels great. I've been there. We all have, unless the person who is reading this didn't go to school yet, or hasn't traveled anywhere all his life. Now.. to the 2ND or 3RD (I forgot) STEP!

Watching and Learning.

Everyone knows that there is always someone skilled out there. Someone that can make Projects easily, Texture Packs easily, Mods easily, Skins easily, or even all easily. This is where they can help you. Now, there are a List of People who are good at such. I'm not a Minecraft Social Person, but maybe this will help.

What you need to do is look at their work. They look complicated, right? Now this is the hardest part to do. What you need to do is study them.. don't know what I mean? Let me break it down.

While Doing The easy (or hard) task

- Look at their Projects (duh)
- Now, google or search up how to make certain stuff (how to code, how to make a skin, etc.)
- Start pretty slow. All the things you have seen was made from people with an amazing amount of experience. Just take it slow and make it simple, no need to worry if it isn't as good.
- Upload it to Planet Minecraft. See what people think. Tell them this is your first time, and that you want some feedback.
- Try sharing your content on PMC Chat. Sometimes there will be people on that check out other people's work all the time (like me!) If you see me on, then I will be sure to check out your stuff.

If people say your content is great, keep doing it! Always remember to be sure to do the other categories once in a while. Maybe you can upload a blog telling what you are doing and what are you making in the future.

If people say your content is bad, keep practicing, or do something else (recommend first option before second). Let's say Skinning was pretty easy for you, but people don't like your content. Keep watching Skinning videos or how to shade a skin, or, how to use Voxel Sniper, or how to edit texture packs or whatever. Keep practicing and practicing, you will get better.

After a long period of practicing then upload your second content on PMC. If people still don't like it, then that means you are going to have to do something else...or you keep practicing :). Keep watching videos and tutorials, rewind and fast-forward. You will get there.

Be Sure to do this with every single category, and keep practicing in all. The one that has the most good feedback will be the one you should go for.

Finding What You Love. (For People with Perseverance)

You upload a skin and most people don't like it. Terrible Reviews. Criticism Everywhere. Negative Atmosphere.

Don't let people take you down! Keep uploading your content! ( Of course practice more )

Remember when I said that people that you looked at had an amazing amount of experience? Well, if you keep uploading, the more experience you will gain and the more knowledge you will get. You will get better and better without even noticing!

Maybe Disco or Hypixel started out bad. MAYBE. They kept doing what they loved and next thing you know, they are famous, and it's easy for them too. Yes, it is true you might not be famous like them but who cares? You might be as good or even better than them as well.

The Hard Part (Oh No)

Now, lets take a break on what you love doing and move on. You still have 3 more categories to tryout, no? Did you forget that part? Oh Gosh, don't forget it. This is the part that basically makes my whole blog come together like Super Glue.

Don't let all that gibberish talk get you all down. That's just me scaring you in a non-scary way if that make sense. But it's true though, this is the hard part.

For Peeps who did the Easy Task First:

1. After doing that easy task, focus on the other categories you feel pretty neutral on. Learn them well, and maybe watch some videos or look at images of some of people's work. Do each category for at least 5 or 6 days until you master it.
2. It's time to do the hard task. Put on some Rocky music, because it's time to get on. This guys, is the nerd version of Advanced PE. B-b-b-boom.. dat bass. Dat asian instrument (I'm asian, no offense to anyone), dat thunder, r-r-r-r-rum...

I might be a little bit dramatic buut. Yes! This is what you need to do.

1. Turn on some Music Maybe?
2. Take some deep breaths.
3. Get Started.
4. Watch every helpful video you can find on Youtube, Dailymotion, whatever.
5. Get the essential tools right away. Don't slack off and say, "I'll get them later"
6. Follow every word the dude or woman is saying. If there's no voice, follow the mouse.
7. Keep practicing that category for at least 3 hours each day with maybe 10 min. break intervals. This might or might not pump you up even more.
8. Do the same thing for about 15 days minimum. When I was in Advanced PE my teacher told me I could show a lot of growth for about 3 hours each day for about 10 or 12 days. The only difference here is your brain.
9. Keep Going! Keep Going!
10. You are officially done with this process. I am 100% Sure you will gain an extensive amount of knowledge on each category, so much you can do whatever one you want, anytime, anywhere.

For People who did the hard Task First:

1. Do 1-10 above.
2. Finish the rest of the easy work and you are done!

CONGRATS, YOU HAVE PASSED PYRO'S TRAINING CAMP

Meh, I was just kidding about that line. I really hope this did work though.

Thanks for Reading This Blog!

I worked pretty hard on making this blog and my hands hurt so much. I did think it was worth it though, to help PMC for my hands... well, that didn't sound right but I surely hope I helped you with at least one thing.
