Introduction
The reason why I made this blog is to inform the people of Planet Minecraft about the tactic of "Diamonding and Subscribing Everything and Everyone". I'm sure that if you have been on this website for a while, you know what I'm talking about. If you don't, it's exactly what the title suggests. There are people who will diamond virtually everything and they will subscribe to literally thousands of members. They do this not necessary because they geniunely like your content, but most of the reason is for advertising. This is also not against the rules to do. Some may even argue that it is a beneficial and good thing. More diamonds for everyone right?How It Works
Diamonding and Subscribing to a person starting out may seem like an act of kindness and it is. It's perfectly awesome to diamond and subscribe to people you like. But when you do this systemically, through thousands and thousands of people you barely even know or like, each diamond and sub is worth less and less. It's more for the benefit in return.A lot of people like to look at who diamond or subbed their stuff and check out the person's profile, and may even feel obligated to diamond and sub them in return. So if you diamond like 100 projects/skins/blogs, you may get perhaps 20-30% of people who will diamond you back, when you do this in thousands, the more you shall recieve. It's even better if you are a high level because you can easily be on top of people's sub boxes, infact many people who do this become a higher level. Being on top of the subbox allows for other viewers to click them, which allows for more exp through more views on their content.
It Abides by the Rules
It's perfectly legal and abides by Planet Minecraft Rules. There's not really any viable methods to prevent people from doing this. People may be looked down upon by some for exploiting the system, but the benefits outweigh the cons. You will actually be more popular for giving free diamonds basically and there are people who will love you for that. The only cons is that your subscription box will be very flooded and you may not see the ones you care about the most. Although Sub 4 Sub is not explicitly allowed, in a way it does still exist with this strategy. If you don't know whether you do this or not, you're probably a normal person. I've gone and done some investigating and here's what I've found. And there are probably more that I'm unaware of.You can see for yourself how many pages of hundreds of subscriptions people have. Just go to their Subscription page and add "?p=x" at the end of the url.
p meaning page and x means page number
replace x with the page number,
Here is an example of mine, I only go up to page 5

This blog is not designed to attack anyone, but raise awareness to the tactic itself. Although this may be a topic that people don't like to talk about, this is an issue that I have thought that everyone should know about.

Seeing a comment saying something positive (usually random, just a short appreciation, nothing more) on a post you made is nice, but seeing how that same person has commented EVERY other project on the website, makes you feel bad, and ruins the purpose of the commenter, whatever it was: if he wanted to be nice or kind, well he failed, and if he wanted to get more subs, well, he will probably not get any subscriptions from you...
But, of course, it's usually a very efficient technique, since most people don't notice the trick.
So, "kind" and "nice" people, if you want to be nice, beware not to actually be rude and hurt someone's feelings :P

Also woah I didn't know that subscription lists had pages; I thought that there was a 100-subscription limit or something.
I do that to be nice does this mean I'm doing something wrong
BUT i wont name names but i think I know who prompted this post.
Saw this an wanted to clarify. Sub4Sub and Diamond4Diamond practices are definitely NOT allowed anywhere on our site. The rules could be clearer on sub4sub since they only specifically go into diamond4diamond if you're not looking at the "Chat Rules" section of our rules, but "no sub4sub schemes" is something we've enforced for a long time.
That said, subbing to someone as thanks after you see they've subbed to you or giving someone some diamonds after seeing they gave you some isn't something we're going to punish someone for. It's only when we catch you saying things like "hey, you sub to me and I'll sub to you" or "diamond all my submissions and I'll diamond yours" that it isn't okay.
I have 22 Pages of subscriptions but have only 358 subs :P
