You know whats bull crap, the fact that know matter how many times I put mod loader on minecraft, it always causes an error. I do everything i'm supposed to do, like delete the META INF folder, and copy the minecraft folder into another folder in case something goes wrong. Once I download the mod and follow the instructions on how to make it work, I go on minecraft and start playing with my awesome mod. After I get on it the next day or the next time I log back on, it puts on that stupid error thing. I then have to go and delete the folder and use the one I copied. Why can't these mods work the next time I log on? Is it like immune to the modloader? Can someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong?

Read my blog about mcpatcher.

Naw, only joking, self promotion is for lamers amirite?

But seriously this is what I do, I have mcpatcher (for texture packs, you more than likely have it too no? It's pretty common).

Well open it up and you'll see an option called "mods".

I just threw the latest modloader into that and it's worked fine ever since.
I've never even seen the minecraft jar, or META INF folder.

I'm running about 5 mods with no issues all of which I installed via mcpatcher after I put modloader into it.
