((Before this starts, I want to explain what this is. As you all know, I'm obsessed with Undertale and Undertale AUs. This is a passion project AU. When people are going through tough times, they express themselves through art or music or anything. This is my way. Of course, this is not going to be a basic au. The only reason that I'm making this message is to let you guys know it's an au, otherwise, you couldn't tell. Essentially, everything in this au is some reflection of my self. All the characters, locations, events, and everything somehow correlates to me. I plan to make a soundtrack and a comic for this one day, but until then, consider this just a test run.))

Not Long Ago, Someone was here.

He was lost and had gone to war with himself.

His madness led to catastrophic events.

His mind shattered, and he ceased to exist.

In his place, a broken world was left.

You wake up in a dark room. You can't remember what just happened, or anything at all really. You get up, and you notice a small opening. You try to wiggle your way through, but to no avail. You repeatedly slam your body into the crack, hoping to break a large enough part off.

"You know, there are easier ways of breaking your back."

You turn towards the voice, grabbing a large, sharp rock off the ground to protect yourself.

"Who's there?!" you yell.

The torches on the walls light up with purple and green flames. The room is dark violet, and it looks like some sort of mix between a forgotten ruins and a technical laboratory. No one else is in the room with you.

You hear a snort, then, "Relax, no need to panic."

A figure slowly starts coming out from the ground. It looks like a floating pile of clothes in the shape of a person; a green jacket, black shirt, jeans, and sneakers. In place of a head, it has a surgical mask and a pair of glasses. It floats closer to you, and crosses it's arms. Despite not having a face, you can see almost a smirk. It looks right next to your head, and you turn to see what he's looking at. What you thought was a crack, was actually a partially closed door, with a lever right next to it. He laughs then pulls the lever, opening the door.

"It's ok, I won't judge. Some of us just can't see in the dark."

"Wh-what... what are you?"

It extends it's hand, "I'm Sinus. So, where are you from?"

You hesitate, but then go ahead and shake it. "I'm... not sure. I can't really remember everything. I think my name is... Sierra"

"Can't remember? Weird. Anyway, how did you get in here?"

"I don't know... I think I just... appeared? I feel like I fell, though."

He looks at you confused. "Fell... heh."

"Why are you laughing? Is my discomfort funny to you?"

"No, no. It just almost sounds like you're real."

"Real? I think I'm real..."

He looks at you closer, then his expression turns serious. "You.... You are."

You immediately feel uncomfortable. "So... I think I'm gonna go figure out-"

The door shuts before you can enter. You turn back towards Sinus. He looks mad.

"You are not going to do anything!" Glowing purple triangles appear around Sinus and shoot towards you.

You move out of the way, using the rock to block them.

"I'M NOT GOING BACK! YOU WON'T RUIN THIS FOR ME!"

More projectiles appear, and you don't think you can avoid this.

All of a sudden, the lights turn off and the door opens. A ball of electricity hits Sinus, then someone drags you out of the room.

You blackout.
