I was messing around on a world file from Khanaris when I stumbled upon a ship he hadn't posted at the time. I left him a comment with some pictures of it asking what it was. He said it was old and he had forgotten about it, and would post it later. It's been posted now as the Skyfish and you can find it here
/end boring backstory. This blog ill be about my remodeling of the Skyfish. I'll post new pics here every once in a while. I'd do this as a project, but since i'm starting with something that wasn't mine, I can't.
So for starters, I popped a craft control block (from the Zeppelin mod)in the floor so I could fly it about. It's got a very low block count so it works quite nice. Then I set up three bolt throwers at the nose. They are set up to use one single switch to fire, but need to be reloaded from outside the ship. I may try to fix that later on.
After that I got rid of the top piston hatch and set up sliding doors on the sides, set to open and close with one switch inside or two stitches outside. A few other minor changes involve smothing out the lines a bit on the hull, and fixing up the fence landing gear.
Had enough boring words? Then have some pictures! (I just noticed how huge these pictures are! I'll crop them or at least any others I plan to post.)
This is a side view with the doors open
And this is a nice angled shot that shows the bolt throwers and the cockpit.
Hope you all enjoyed my boring little blog.

I have no problem with anyone posting schematics based off of anything I have done as long as they mention the source in the description, so this would be fine as a project if to decide you want to upload it that way. There are a few other posters doing that already. And in this case you are doing a lot more with the idea than I had any intention of doing.
