"Oh let's see what's going on for xbox today hmm. A lot of sales.. Top rated... GTA V like always.... What's this? Quantum Break? I can't believe it! Man I got to go play this game through." That's what I thought when I saw Quantum Break on top rated games. After playing this game through, I have no words. But in a good way, or a bad way? Well, you'll have to read more to find out. Let's jam!

The Story - The story starts off with Jack Joyce and Paul Serene, who are supposedly "best friends". Jack meets Paul at a college to go to his lab to you know, see what he's been up to. What Jack doesn't realize though, is that what Paul's been up to, is the kind of weird evil scientist stuff. Paul then tries to test his machine out with Jack to discover that it works! But right in the middle of celebration Will Joyce comes out of nowhere with a gun. And I would love to say what happens next but there has already been too many spoilers so I'm just gonna leave it there. Now this story is so cliche, like they just went in to the cliche book of amazing cliches, and just used the story that has been used the least. Time travel. Bad Story. Check ✔

The Characters - The characters aren't something that you could get connected to. And I'll be getting to why you can't connect to them in just a moment. But here's some of the main characters. Jack Joyce - Our prime Lead with a unbreakable heart! (which has been broken many times btw)
Paul Serene - Our lead Antagonist, probably the only thing goin for this game, if it had not been for this guy, I would have quit mid-way.
Will Joyce - The smart guy because you always have to have a smart guy who knows exactly what he's doing in every situation.
Beth Wilder - Main female character. She's pretty bad in that devious way though.
These guys are just the mains. There's also many more characters but they're mostly just sides and aren't in the game as much as they're in the actual episodes. Speaking of episodes

TV series & My thought - The TV series was original. Far more superior than the game. The thing, Jack is not even in it, I don't think I can remember a single episode where Jack Joyce is actually in it besides for his like picture and stuff. Our main character in the TV series is great too! He's like the better version of Jack except... Better. The TV series also changes depending on what your choices are in the game.

Choices & Problems - The fact that you could make choices in this game well, it didn't really suck, it just kind of made the fact that you can ruin the game that much worse. Like really, with ONE bad choice you can change the whole outcome of the game, and it's either going to be bad, really bad, or really really bad. It doesn't matter which choice you pick because none of them are the wrong one, it's just that one of them is the worst one. And I don't like that. This game would have been better if it had not had choices. But I still applaud them for doing the whole choice thing. Also, I put problems in this one because guess what. This game is short. ITS SO SHORT. 5 hours is all it took me. 5 hours and 9 min exact. I read a forum that told me to count how long it took you to play the game. If I subtract all the actual show length, the whole game is only 5 hours. 60$ for this game. For 5 hours. It's not 60$ anymore just saying. But when I bought it, it was 60$. Ultimate ripoff. And they think that we're actually going to play through this crappy game again with different choices. That's also a problem too. If we get bad choices leading to the wrong ending, we're not going to waste the time of playing the game through again. That's pointless.

Final Verdict - I went back and forth with that review. The game isn't as bad as I said it was, I mean, if you like time travel, go ahead and buy it. It's a xbox exclusive just to let you know. Sucks but it's true. Sorry playstation. Anyways. I think it's time for me to go. It just... Disgusting. Hated this game. Go and do your thing, minecraft or whatever... but for now...
