In the third installment of the Ships Mod Technology Demo series, I show off some of the vanilla interactive blocks that are now working on ships! The video shows crafting tables, chests, furnaces, and hoppers. Many other interactive blocks are semi-working, but they'll need quite a bit more polish before I'm ready to show them off in a video.
You may notice there's a bit of jerkiness in the footage. The player bobbing is due to a rather nasty client/server desynchronization problem that I'll have to set aside some time to fix. In a nutshell, the client and server are fighting over what the correct position of the ship is, and the poor player is caught in the middle.

Idea- Fishing rod blocks.
2 blocks wide
1 block tall
The first part is metal, and a button on it. Pressing that button will make the fishing rod go in water.
The fishing rod caches a fish, and if you click outside that button, it will have a furnace-like thing.
Have coal in it, it will cook the fish.
Better yet, water in the boat? like, the pirate mod fish trap, in side the boat and there's a hole for the fishies to come in and you have a double fish farm... If you break the button on the fishing rod block, the rest of the block wont break, it will just have a hole where that button was. Putting a lever on it and flicking the lever will release all the cooked fish. Redstone also works.
To make fishing pole block- iron on all edges except up and down, fishing pole on top, dispenser on bottom and furnace in the middle. If you want it to come with a button, replace any iron with a button.
