[DISCLAIMER] This is a fictional (duh!) story made by me, ak47sniperaxe to promote my roleplay server. Enjoy!

             I slowly lifted my head, dazzled by the oh-so-bright sunlight seeping in through the stained glass. Listening for the call of my pet Cockerel, I strained my head in the direction of the golden clock on the wall. Hm. Almost midday. I prefer not to have late nights, but with the constant bombardment of my town's perimiter by the Elvar, it's hard to not get caught up in time.
          'Elvar...' I whispered through gritted teeth, my hound pricking up his ears at the mention of his foe. My people, the Nords, used to live a peaceful life amongst the two other races of my land; namely the Elvar, a race of fast-moving, combat efficient elves who live in the forests, and the Dwarves, cavedwellers living under the mountain. And then came the Enderdragon, a beast released from another dimension, tearing through the Nordic villages and burning our crops with its slender servants to finish off the people.
           Walking over to my apparel chest, and picking out a light dark-gray dyed tunic, and some iron boots I look out of the window. The old widow brings bread out from her basket, and puts it on the market-stall. So the wheat harvest succeeded? Good. That damn Dragon may not have got us yet. 
           When the Dragon came, we sent scouts to the Elven and Dwarven kingdom, asking for help through our time-honoured alleigance. But no help came. Instead the Elvar barricaded their houses, and prepared an army ready to pick up where the dragon left off, stealing what was left from the bountiful Nordic crops. And the Dwarves? Well they barricaded themselves into their nests of sorts, only mining deeper and shutting out all sunlight.
