If you are one of those infected by this error, this is a tutorial on how to fix it.

Steps:

1. Open Drive C/ Local Disk (C:)

2. Open the Windows file

3. Open System32

4. Open drivers

5. Open etc

6. (Optional) Create a folder on your desktop and copy/past the hosts file into into as a backup

7. Open the hosts file with notepad or the like

8. Copy 184.73.223.40 session.minecraft.net

9. Try running logging into a server, if it doesn't work, Do steps 7 and 8 again.

Don't worry, if feel this will harm your computer, google it. Al ot of others have tried and succeeded in fixing there problem. You could always restore your backup host file.

Remember, if you give me diamonds, I will pelt the strangers in there faces with them to get their attention.

Disclaimer: I am not the first to post a solution to this problem, nor did I find the solution to this problem with my awesome skills, I am simply posting this because some people still haven't figured out the solution to this problem and I feel some server are still being effected by it, even though most of the community has recovered, there are still a few left stranded.
