I'll keep this short and simple. Most people use something fancy like novaskin, minecraft skin creator, or even mobile apps. But there is a much simpler and easier way to do it. I don't wish to push this on anyone, but this is what i use. It's a flash program on Kongregate that allows you to use templates and your own designs to make skins.
