Hello everyone.

As u might have noticed, the 1.8 snapshot 14w02a & 14w02b have come out.

Here are some of the new things:

There have been added 7 new blocks so far.

Diorite
Polished Diorite
Granite
Polished Granite
Andesite
Polished Andesite
Slime block (bounches you up and down)

Commands:

@e tag for command blocks
/blockdata command
Items can be modified to break only certain blocks.
Added selectable number of removed items in /clear command
Added ´Lock´ string NBT tag

Gamemodes:

Adventure mode can now no longer break blocks.
Items can be modified to break only certain blocks.

Enchantment:

Less level cost, but now added cost in lapis lazuli

Changed villager trading

About 60% as high as from where you fell, if that makes sense.

It works like a trampoline. As "hard"(the hight you fell/jumped from) you land on the slime block, as high you will be sended back into the air

so if you are afk on a server and someone (let´s call him troll) places a slime block -2 block under you and breaks the block between yourself and the slime; you would jump infinitly until troll breaks the slime block. Next step would be that you fall back to the ground and die so that troll can pick up the items. New killing tactic *YAY* :D

Maybe pressing jump as you hit the block, with timing, sends you higher.
