Ok, I can't really say for much in other countries except for here in Australia, but one thing I have seem to noticed is that with all the piracy and illegal downloading that goes on around the world, governments are taking action to put a stop to this sort of stuff. And it isn't just torrent sites that are being effected.


This image is a case in point, GetUploader is another File Sharing site, similar to Mediafire or Dropbox. But problem is, I found that this site is blocked in Australia for the same reasons as using a torrent or pirated site, considering some people who host mods, texture packs or even just skins can use this site as well. But it isn't exactly the entire country that blocks sites, it is mainly set by your ISP (Internet Service Provider).

As far as I know, this is the only File Sharing site I have found that has been effected, but there could be more out there.

What can be done to prevent people from using these sites?
The answer is nothing. It is up to the uploaders of the files they want to share to whether they want to use these sites or not.

I trust and know the site, is there any way that I can bypass it if I get a message similar to yours?
Yes, you can use a VPN (Virtual Private Network). But do be aware, VPN isn't something that comes for free all the time. I use AVG VPN, but someone else may like to use something different. For a Free VPN, I would recommend using Opera Web Browser, since that has a built in VPN to it. But I would not recommend using a VPN for full usage of the internet, as using a VPN can feel slower than using the main network itself.

Is there any sites that have not been effected?
Mediafire, Google Drive, Dropbox I know off haven't been effected by this yet. But I am not too certain whether anything may happen. As for other File Sharing Sites, I am not too sure yet.
