Chapter Two
Now with my new champion, Wheatley, I set off into the forest because I was running low on some wood. As I chopped away at a tree, Wheatley was next to me, just sitting on the floor and relaxing. I wish I could relax like him.
I put the axe down, and patted his head. He looked up at me and just stuck out his tongue. "Wow Wheatley. How have you been surviving this entire time?" I kept staring and patting him when he sharply turned his head in one direction and I knew something was over there.
"Stay Wheatley. I got this. Good boy." . I grabbed the axe and silently walked over to the area which Wheatley seemed to dislike.I quickly ducked my head under the bushes and heard someone talking.
"-and he has this wolf thing protecting him. I don't know what went wrong."
"All you had to do was have a zombie bite him. It's not that hard. You mess up everything."
Wait a minute. Zombie.. bite... wolf.. me?! Why do they want me to die?
I took a step back and a leaf crunched under my foot. I silently cursed at myself for making such a big mistake.
"What was that. Do you think someone's hearing us?"
"Shut up! Just go and see what's there."
"But-"
"Now."
"Always making me do everything..." I heard someone mumbling under their breath while they walked closer to the area I was hidden. Thump. One step. Thump. Another step. Thump. And another step.
My heart started to beat faster and faster with each step this person took towards me. I glanced at Wheatley and he was in a attack position, watching me. "Wheatley, it's okay boy. I got this." I whispered,
Wheatley began to growl, each time this person was getting closer and closer to me. "Wheatley!" I sharply whispered. "Down boy!"
"Uhhhh... Surge? Remember that wolf that protected Steve? Yeah, well I see it, and um, it looks like its gon bite me."
"You can take care of it. I'm not your stupid mother. Just shoot it."
"Um. Alright then." I saw the shadow of this, what appears to be man, raise its arms and it seemed as if it was about to shoot an arrow. My eyes widened. He let the arrow go and I screamed.
"NOOOOOOO! Wheatley!"
