Keep reading, friend, for I have a theory to discuss. It is in the form of a story. I built this story around the question: Is Steve completely human? And is he really dreaming?

S.T.E.V.E: Surviving To End the Villainous Empire

Once a century ago, a team of scientists, named the Inhumane Researchers, found an outstanding discovery. They were best known for finding a region that could be only accessed through a portal of obsidian, and named it the Nether, finding creatures such as the Blæse blässe, or Blaze, and the Ghast, or the Gæstan Gast. But now, they had found something far more dangerous. Another portal to another dimension of no boundaries. It was named The End, for no one has espaced the End, for it has a cruel grasp on reality. The team of researchers did not report what they saw, which, unfortunately, was a huge mistake.

One day, one the researchers found a man. This man was determined to find a job as a lab rat, because he thought his life had no adventure. The researcher realized that this man could go to the End and back, like a Greek hero. The test subjects they secretly sent into the End never cam back. But if they genetically enchanced this determined man, he could be unstoppable. The researcher and the man agreed that the man would take a journey to the unknown and pay the man with praise and appriciation. Before they went, the scientist asked for the man's name. The man replied that it was Steve.

Now the team didn't study the End for long enough, because there lay a creature who would later be named Drakõnius Apokaluptein, the Ender Dragon. The creature had found Earth only by his scouts, the Endermen, or Sapien Apokaluptein. These Endermen were the men sent into the End that never came back. They were spagettified in a most horrible way. Part of the army the dragon was building consisted of tiny creatures named Endermites, or Zecketicia Apokaluptein. The Endermen hate the Endermites, and try to squish them every chance they get. The Ender Dragon had plans to take out all the civilizations of Earth and infect it so no human being could live on it. The dragon was protecting an egg, and it had plans to hatch the egg one day and Ender Dragons would rule the world.

Steve was now on a bed, ready to be tested. The entire project was named after him, Project S.T.E.V.E, so that the glory wasn't all of the scientists, who were about to genetically enhance his DNA.  One of the scientists came in with a shot with some blue substance in it.  The scientistshot the substance into Steve's body, and then Steve blacked out.

When he came to, he didn't feel a lot stronger. In fact, his vision was oddly altered, everything seem to resemble a square shape.  He looked down and realized he was square, too. But that wasn't what freaked him out. It was the fact when he rubbed a glass cup, it didn't feel square-shaped. When he felt himself, however, he knew he was square-shaped. One of the researchers explained that the genetic enhancement went wrong when they accidentally altered the body shape DNA. It was then explained they had to make him part cyborg, and they couldn't restore the altered DNA. He was about to asked what they had cybernetically enhanced when at that exact moment, the Ender Dragon put its plan to action. And the ultimate ambush started in the laboratory.

Out of the wall exploded creatures no human had even begin to peek at or imagine. Chaos ensued, and last thing Steve heard before locking himself in a cryogenic time capsule was: "Venture forth, Steve! Do NOT come save us, but save the world!" Then Steve fell into a deep sleep.

Steve awoke, years later, not in the cryogenic time capsule, but on the ground. He looked around and saw he was in a forest. No since of building or other humans at the very least anywhere. As he stood up, he felt the cybernetic enhancements also wake. He felt the shape of his body, which was still square. He had the strange feeling that the world did something science could not possibly explain: it regenerated. Science. Something that could not explain another thing: the hideous and vile beasts that burst out th laborotory wall that fated day.

He knew he had to make a shelter, and something told him to hit the tree with his fist. He couldn't stop himself from hitting the tree, it seemed like a stupid idea. But after a couple of hits, part of the log of the tree fell into his hand.

As time went on, he learned everything from punching pigs to building portals and making potions, the very same thing you learned in Minecraft. One day, while mining, he discovered another portal, pre-built. As he got closer, he realized this was the very same portal the team of scientists wanted him to jump in. He knew about the portal, where it led to, how to activate it, but he didn't realize it was the same one. He set his spawn, built the remaining rest of the portal frame. and knowing that this battle was for the scientists, he jumped in.

The Ender Dragon heard a very tiny, odd warping sound. It wasn't surprised. It knew the pesky human would come to him. The human stood, and stared up at it. Steve had known it was expecting him to be here. Then, a mighty roar cam from the army, and the battle began. The Endermen couldn't care less about the orders from their master during the battle, and went rogue on the Endermites. The Ender Dragon, on the other hand, fought long and hard with the human, and Steve destroyed all of the dragon's power sources, the Ender Crystals. It finally was between the Ender Dragon and Steve. The human had half a heart, the dragon almosted finished. Before their final attacks, they stared at each other. Steve thought it was almost if the dragon was trying to say, "Good game." Then they lunged, but the dragon was too late. With a cry of fury, it started to float upward. As it did, Steve looked up, and saw the dragon starting to self-combust into the little orbs that popped out of whatever he killed. But this time, it rained what seemed to be hundreds of these orbs. It was a beautiful sight. He then noticed a portal next to him with an egg on top of it. He knew he had to destroy that egg. He went up to the egg and smashed it. He didn't get the egg. He didn't care. Then he jumped into the portal.

He was standing, but not standing. He heard a murmur of voices. They were talking about him and his future. It went on and on but then, he awoke with a start. Was he dreaming? No, he wasn't. He was in his bed, in his home. Then it dawned on him. He went outside at stood, gazing a the rising sun. He now knew: his adventure would never end. Ever.

THE END.
