Hey guys, today I am going to discuss something many people talk about, but never do anything about.
I am not in any way, enforcing this upon you. I am stating what I think should be done.
As you all know, swearing is a large issue on many servers, and because of this they are not exactly family friendly.
From my understanding, Minecraft is a family focused game. Something the entire family can play.
But once you enter multiplayer, it's a completely different story. Players harass each other, they attack each other verbally, you get the point. And nobody does anything about it! So here is my opinion.
If you happen to be an OP or Admin, when someone swears, send them a message saying something along the lines of,

"Dear Mr. Player, on this server we do not encourage swearing. In fact, we do not particularly want it to be used on our server. This is a warning. Thank you."

If the player continues, maybe a kick should be used. Not a ban, but a kick.
If the player again continues, maybe use a temporary ban for maybe a day or so.
If once again the player continues, it's time for the perma-ban.
You've warned him, you've given him three chances. He doesn't obey the rules. He suffers the
consequences. Again, I am not forcing this upon you all, I am simply stating that this is how I think it should be
handled.

This is my first blog post, so please don't be too harsh. Thank you for your time, and I hope you help
make Minecraft servers a more family friendly place.
