As this is the first post of this new concept, I think I must make the difference clear. The text below is something between a interview and a conversation. As I personally believe interviews are quite... Static, I will try to make my own version of interviewing "Tea talk", better with your feedback and by time!

The Topic: What do you think should be added to Minecraft?

I would like a more socialized minecraft. With friendlists, profile pages and one click- skin changing. It would be really easy for me as I could simply switch to my RP skin when on Lord of the Craft, and back to my typical The Settler skin when on my (upcoming server). Besides, it would be so handy to see who of your friends are online, and on what server they are playing~!

Can't you do most of those things on Minebook (or something like that). One click skin changing would be nice, not entirely sure if it'd be possible or not. I'd only really like the removal of blocks/items in Minecraft, I'm not even sure what advantages the newer items bring. If it were up to me, I'd change the default texture pack in an instant. Many players use texture packs, but the remaining ones just use the default one (which I think looks really terrible). It took me a while to learn how to add texture packs to my game, and the same process repeated itself when resource packs were implemented. The thing that annoys me about it is that Minecraft no doubt would have hired artists, and yet they have this terrible default texture pack almost anyone could mimic.

That is one way to look it afcourse, the standard texture pack could really use some better textures. Mojang does have a official texture pack, maybe they could make that one stock in your "resource pack" list? Either way, I do agree that would only benefit us. But does that really need to be the first priority? There are so many things that could be perfected in Minecraft, like more mobs or a "socialized" minecraft. I do have to say that I forgot Minebook, but not everyone is on it.

Apparently when you register with Minecraft, your account is added to Minebooks but not fully activated until you login...

As I said in my previous post, I would not like more blocks/items/etc to be implemented into Minecraft, in my opinion, as more blocks/items/etc are added to Minecraft, the overall quality of the game decreases, many will disagree with me. Although I am not strongly against an update for new mobs,Iprefer Minecraft as it is. Because of this, that would be my first priority.

Interesting to see someone with a whole different opinion, but what do you mean with "quality decreases"? I like my carpets ;-P

quality:General excellence of standard or level. For me, when more blocks/items/whatever are added, this excellence lowers, I think of the game as just a little less entertaining and enjoyable. Therefore in my perspective, the quality has decreased. Fancy items just aren't my thing, I have no use for carpets, I have no use for any of the new items.

So that means you would rather play on Vanilla servers than Bukkit, tekkit, hexxit, etc?

tekkit I dislike, it's way too confusing. If I am playing survival, I prefer to play Vanilla. If I am building I'd rather use Bukkit, as plugins such as world edit, voxel sniper etc can make it a lot easier.
