Hey you wonderful minecraft community members! I have a real treat for you all today! After many questions/requests sent to me related to how I terraform and add dungeons and other underground things in. I've decided to make it easy on you guys from having to read my long messages back, and made you all a video! In this 2 part tutorial video(s) I'll be going over: Editing, copy/paste, handcave making using worldedit, basic/adv MCedit commands/useage, and even Worldpainter! WOW That seems like a lot. Well, don't worry! I make it very easy to understand, and I go step by step! You'll be terraforming like inhaze himself before you know it =]

Like everyone has already said, world painter makes the landscape look too unnatural. Is the voxel thing only for servers?

Tip number one: Use A LOT less Wrold Painter, it just doesn't look natural. The only time I use World Painter is while making the base and then going over it in Voxel Sniper. It looks so much better. 


I honestly don't know how your "Terraforming tutorial" wasn't 90% about Voxel sniper. Should have focused less on world painter. The title should be changed to World Painter tutorial or something along those lines.

In the very beginning of the video I explained that I normally use voxelsniper and just use worldpainter as a base to start off. The only reason voxel wasn't covered was because I didn;t have time when I got off work to reupload my server and all the plug-ins. Your right though, worldpainter is very unnatural. But, this video was mainly made to show how you can terraform then add special unique things in like dungeons/stronghold/abandened mines. I had another 20mins of just going over world-edit/voxelsniper at the end of part 2 to this. But, ended up cutting it out do to the video lenght. But your right, and thank you for taking the time to reveiw the tutorial and send me your feedback and your thoughts. Means a lot.

Thanks I love getting feedback. Shows how I sould/can improve. But yeah, World painter is horrible for making really natural terrian. Simply becuase you can;t tell on the program how the world will turn out once you load it. Plus, voxelsniper is a crazy awesome program. Can do so very much in such a short amount of time. Thanks again for your time reveiwing the tutorial. Once I'm off work in an hour maybe I can add some tips on using voxel/worldedit in the description as a added thing. Thanks again bud! helped a lot(:

First thing I would probably say is to try and prevent your terrain from looking like you made it with World Painter, same as you would do to prevent it from looking like you made it with Voxel Sniper. More "realistic," if you can even say that xD

Yeah normally I have voxelsniper up. But I didn't have time yesterday to put my server back up): but your right. The realistic part of terraforming I'm working on(: that's one of the main points I really need to focus on. Thank you so much for checking out my project, and even giving me feedback.

World painter is the best!!! too bad can't make bridges with it so I just use SPcommands and world edit fro it. Even though I know everything you did in the video I diamond for the hard work.
