5 Steps in making a good skin
Here I made a simple guide,the most important things you need to know about skinning.Not only make a perfect skin,but get some diamonds,too.
1.IDEA
Think what your skin should be.Make something on-topic,something that everyone would like.And have an original idea-Its not worth to post something what you can find 30 times on Planet Minecraft.Have your own, original idea.
2.DETAIL
Your skin has to be detailed. Add some detail to your skin and be creative. You can add 3D hair, moving mouth, and so on! Preview features are greatly appreciated,so do it!
3.COLORS
Use proper colors to your skin.It matters on your skin`s theme.Color mixture is also,very important.
4.SHADING
Shading is a very important thing to add.It makes your skin look real and nice.Contarast is part of shading,and it`s very important.Shading guide is found here.
5.THE PAGE
Add some proper description to your skin.Dont make it too long,make it short and detailed.For example,if your skin is a character from a TV show,use the description from the wiki.Don`t forget to credit them!Also,encourage people to give you diamonds if they liked your skin.
YOU SHOULD NOT DO
You should not add noise.Noise is drawing random shadows on random spots on your skin.That doesn`t make your skin better,it makes it worse.Use shading instead.
