Chapter 1: Intro

Greetings, this is Leo! Today is the reaping. I am thinking of running away, even though I only have my name in the draw once. I just really don't want to take the chance. The boy last year only had his name in there once and he was chosen. I felt very sorry for him because he was only 12... I am 13 and I have a baby brother, a Mum and a Dad. My Dad is always busy at work and I only see him twice a year for Christmas and my brother and I's birthday (we have it on the same day, even though he is 4 years younger than me).

Chapter 2: The Reaping

I am all dressed and handsome for the reaping. As usual, Dinnerbone walks onto the stage and announces the details. Like, "Today is the Reaping for the Hunger Games blah blah blah! Two people from each world blah blah blah blah". I don't bother to listen because I hear it every year. He puts his hand into the jar and pauses for a minute, then he pulls out a sealed envelope with some poor child's name in it. Then he pulls out another one and places it next to the other name. He picks up the first one and opens it. He reads out, "The first tribute is... R3CHARG3!". I take a sigh of relief, but yet incredible sadness because I have known R3CHARG3 for quite a while, a noticed a tear drop from my eye. My heart is racing incredibly fast now. He opens the next one and reads, "The second tribute is... Notch!". Then a man dressed in white and gold walks up to him and whispers in his ear. "Oh, I am afraid Notch has been moved to Spawn City, sorry folks!". Then he pulls out one last name. My ears nearly fall off when I hear these words: "The second tribute is... LeoL274!". The next thing I know I'm being dragged by men in white and gold suits up into the City Tower.

Chapter 3: Getting Ready for the Games

I am taken by Minecart to the Spawn City and dragged into a huge mansion called The Arena. I am stripped and being buffed, cleaned, covered in make up and dressed into strange foreign clothes. Then I am taken to Dinnerbone and I meet up with R3CHARG3 (R3 for short). We talk about battle strategies together. Usually, the two people from each world team up, but not always. We train privately and publicly. I'm best with a Sword and R3 is best with projectile weapons. It's the night before the games now. I am very nervous but R3 is there to comfort me, it's so hard to get to sleep. I can't stop thinking about the games...

Chapter 4: Let The Games Begin

I was wrong about going to sleep, I eventually dosed off, but not so soon afterwards, I'm being woken up by the shouts of Dinnerbone, "Rise and shine sleepy head it's time!!! We've got a big day ahead of us!" I slowly sit up and climb out of bed. "Your going to be on Interminecraftian Redstone TVs across Minecraft! You'll also get to meet Jeb and EvilSeph!" Wow that's just amazing I meet some guys and then die! I think, sarcastically. We have breakfast, I say hi to R3 and then we head to the Mojang Office at the center of Spawn City. Jeb does a speech in front of all the fans in Spawn City and next he comes and greets all the contestants. "Pleasure to meet you.. urr..." Jeb looks down at a card and continues "Ah, LeoL274!" "Yeah you too," I mumble. Next EvilSeph greets us and we are interviewed by Junkboy and Carlmanneh, then EvilSeph takes us all as a big group back to The Arena.
