Do not try this in your own world unless it has nothing in it or it is backed up. My world got corrupted and I couldn't get it back.
So I was mucking around a bit in creative cause we had heard of some things on Minecraft - the worlds are not infinite. I spawned and used this command :
/tp ~30000000 ~ ~30000000

Only use the /tp command once but don't move from the spawn point. I flew around before using the command, meaning I had to do the command twice for it to work.
so then I was teleported to a random point on the world. I used the command again, and saw the red tint in the corners of the screen you get when you are out of the world border. Then this happened :
Connection Lost : Illegal Position
[Back to title screen]
I was on a singleplayer world and it had said "connection lost" as if I was player kicked from a server. I clicked the back to title and sure enough, it took me to the multiplayer menu. I tried to load the world up again but every time it kicked me with the same reason, taking me back to multiplayer.
