Hey PMC! I have given a lot of thought into making a Minecraft creepypasta story lately and I've decided to go for it hope you enjoy.
I had always wanted to buy Minecraft. I saw all the tutorials on youtube, they facinated me. At night I would dream about building a rocket ship in the back yard of a mansion. I thought none of this would ever happen since my parents wouldn't let me use any more of their money. I was twenty-three years old and hadn't had a job since I worked at Wal-Mart in eleventh grade.
One clear sunday evening in the summer I decided to take a walk around the neighbourhood and see if there was any loose change on the ground I could use for my minecraft fund. I end up at the neighbourhood park around seven pm. There were children frolicking and playing in the sand and on the slide. I stared at them, envying them, wishing I could be as happy as they were. I turned around and saw a man in a hood and cloak with a shadow on his face so I could only see his mouth. I hadn't seen him there before, it was strange. He made a gesture signalling me to come over. As I came closer I saw that he was a frail old man with a hunched back.
"I hear you seek the realm of minecraft." he said to me in a raspy voice.
"How did you know that?" I said back to him, confused.
He didn't answer. He stuck a hand inside his cloak and pulled out a floppy disc labelled "Minecraft" with a torn sticker of of Steve the miner on it and gave it to me. I thought you could just buy minecraft online. Even if you could buy it another way I would have expected it to be on a CD, but I wasn't about to turn down this offer. As I turned to leave I noticed the park was empty of children. When I looked back to where the old man was standing he was gone too. I decided to run as fast as I could back home. The house was empty when I got home. I saw a note from my parents on the kitchen table on top of a box of donuts.
"Honey we have left to go to the hockey game, these donuts are for you" is what the note said.
I brought the box downstairs to my basement where I knew our old floppy disc computer was and ate about three donuts before I put the disc in. The Mojang logo came up as I had expected except the letters were a deep red colour instead of orange. When the title screen came up I saw that the water in the background was also a deep red colour and the yellow text across the title said "THIS GAME IS CURSED YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED". I thought that was a funny trick the folks at Mojang had put up. I pressed single player and created my first world. I started punching wood as most would in their first momments of minecraft. When night fell I had a bed, three iron, twenty coal, fifty oak planks, and a couple stacks of stone. That's when weird things started happening.
I didn't want to wait out the night so I decided to sleep. When I right-clicked the bed it said "I wouldn't sleep if I were you" in the chat box. That kind of creeped my out so I decided to just stay up and smelt some iron. When I right-clicked te funace it said "You will be cooked here" but this time it was someone's voice. I didn't want to back down though, I was having so much fun. I had just realized I hadn't made a sword. This time when I tried to craft it a video popped on the screen from a local newscast from last week. The news anchor mentioned how a boy had been brutally murdered while he was playing a game when a man snuck into his house and started beating him with a baseball bat. I recognized his face when it popped up on the screen. And he said "I'm coming for you". That's when I blacked out when I woke up I couldn't figure out where I was. Then I saw the blocky terrain, the blocky animals, my blocky hands, I was inside Minecraft. The sheep that was next to me turned into the boy and he started beating me. When I was too weak to move he brought me to the little hole I dug earlier and shoved me in the furnace. I died, but I kept re-spawning and the procss kept on being repeated. That is why I hate Minecraft.
