Ms. Potterfield gently knocked on Luke's door. "Luke," she said, "Someone wants to speak to you." "On the phone, or here at home?" replied the muffled voice of Luke. "Here, at home. She needs to talk to you." answered Ms. Potterfield. "A girl?!" shouted Luke. "Yes, Luke. Her name is Violet. She would like to speak to you." Ms. Potterfield said and ordered, "Now come out here." Luke slowly opened the door, and do you know what he saw? He saw the same girl that was laying on the grass! "Come in.."
he mumbled.


Violet walked in and glanced at his bed. He was hiding something under his blanket. She decided to look under the blanket. The lump took the shape of a basket. The diamonds? she thought. I must have taken fake ones! I must get them back!


"So, you're the girl pretending to be dead." Luke slowly said, making out his words. What he really wanted to say was, WHY THE FUDGE DID YOU HAVE DIAMONDS IN THAT BASKET?! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO FIND EGGS! But he didn't say that. He just wanted to know why she had diamonds in that basket and why she played dead. "Yes." Violet admitted. "I pretended to be dead." "Why did you do it? Why do you have diamonds in the basket?" Luke asked in a snooty voice that said, "You are such an idiot, a square has four sides." he plopped onto his bed, and so did Violet. "I....I...I can't....I.." Violet fake-stammered.

My chance to get the diamonds back! Violet thought excitedly. Then, right at that moment, she yanked the blanket aside, grabbed the basket, and ran off. "WAIT!" Luke yelled. "Come back! I need that!" But it was too late. Violet was already out the door. Luke sprinted into the kitchen. "Why is she in such a hurry?" his mom asked. "Did you hurt her feelings or something?" she fluttered her eyes. "That must've been your girlfriend." "NO, mom, it wasn't!" Luke insisted. "If you stop and listen, I can tell you everything!" And that's exactly what he did.


Back at the mansion, Boss Jouser became impatient. "Where is my favorite agent?!" he yelled. Right after that, Violet sprinted through the door and stopped, panting. "Why so late, dear Violet?" Jouser asked in his deep voice. You missed lunch. Jouser summoned a servant and ordered, "Get my dear agent some food." The servant nodded and strolled away.
Jouser glanced at Violet again. "Sorry, Boss, but I have lots to tell you!" Violet exclaimed. That's when Jouser noticed she had two baskets of diamonds. "What in the world, Violet? What's going on?!" Jouser demanded. "I had fake..diamonds...he had the real...ones." Violet panted. "Why, this is an outrage!" Jouser yelled. "Please explain everything." And that is exactly what she did.



Ms. Potterfield laughed. "Why, this is very silly, baby. You still have a strong imagination. Oh, my dear boy." she kissed his forehead. "Now go play." "NO, mom. I had proof, but that girl took it!" Luke argued. "Don't argue with me, young man. And when I say young man, I am totally serious!" Ms. Potterfield said angrily. Luke stomped to his room. Ms. Potterfield laughed. "Kids..."
