It was dark, the grass blew in the wind near a warm cottage where a girl slept soundly. It was just about 10:30 when Nyla looked outside after hearing the sounds of crackleing fire and screems coming from the near by village. She sliped on her shoes, makeing sure not to wake her cat, Bluebell. She crawled up a hill and poked her head up from it's rounded point. The village was in flames and creatures of all sorts roamed what was the cottages carefuly built within a forest. People ran and tryed to escape, but where captured and even killed. Houses, destroyed by beasts roaming around the area. 

Nyla's eyes grew large as she gazed upon people sprinting and screeming. She ran back into her cottage and turned on the lights to see what she was doing. She scrambled accros her messy floor, and found a steel axe lying in a pile of books and clothing. She put on her jacket and flew out the door. She ran deeper into the forest to find another small cottage sitting there. She knocked as hard as she could as to wake the inhabitents of the small house. "What do you want... Oh Nyla, what are you doing here at this hour." said a boy with streaky blond hair in nothing but a night shirt and pants. "We have no time for this August! The village is in danger!" gasped Nyla as she snached August's hand and wen't off. "What are you thinking?! If Guilda finds us out, she'll lock us up!" "Guilda is probably dead by now considering the situation." They ran to the top of the hill. They both gazed upon the village being eated by flames.

August put one hand over his mouth seeing the wrek. Suddenly one of the beasts spotted the duo and screemed. The yelp blased them back and they both landed on the ground with a thud. Nyla ran to the beast jumping off the hill in order to swing her axe with more force. (Gore warning, this is when it gets messy! If you don't like these things, oh well!) She peirced the head of the monster and a purple ooz trickled out from its head. She yanked her axe out, getting the substance on her and everything around her.

One other beast took note of this and charged at her with full force. Out of nowhere a dark fuigure appered, saving her from the hulk-ish monster. Her dark wraps covered almost everything exsept for her green eyes and silver blond hair. She carried a sword with her. August watched with aw as the heroin saved his friend. Nyla wiped even more purple goop off her face and stared at the stranger. The girl took off her mask and shook out her long blond hair. She helped Nyla up. She held out her hand "Aris." she said. Nyla shook her hand and responed with, "Nyla, my name is Nyla." Her wispy blood red hair flew in the wind as she looked at Aris with her brown eyes. 

August ran down and quickly turned around after hearing a almost soothing voice. "What are you doing here?"
