I believe that being a PMC-er can help you become more competitive in the labour market. Yes, I said it. But before you bombard me with insults in the comments, do hear me out.

WHAT JOB?!

I'm not talking about becoming a mod or site moderator on PMC. Nor do I mean meeting up with strange people on the internet and doing things with them that your parents wouldn't approve of. No, PMC can do more for you than that. If you want a job, college place or apprenticeship in real life in order to avoid living on the streets and becoming a hobo, this website can be used to your advantage.

ARE YOU MAD?! HOW?!

This may surprise you, but I'm applying for universities over the summer and Cambridge is at the top of my priorities. I'm going to tell them that, "blogging has become an enjoyable and stimulating activity for me, enabling me to build on the skills gained from my English Literature course by enhancing my ability to present arguments thoughtfully and persuasively. It has thus improved my written communicating skills and getting over 10,000 people reading my blogs has only boosted my passion for writing." And who knows, it could be 20,000 in a few months, and 50,000 by this time next year. That's A LOT of submissions and A LOT of readers.

The point is that if you work hard on PMC and spend time perfecting your craft, you can learn a lot. Talented, prolific, high-level PMC members have aided their personal development without even knowing it and can talk about what they've done when applying for positions of responsibility in real life. Think about it. Bloggers, as I've said, have improved their writing skills. Everyone else has heightened their creativity, imagination and artistic skills, gained an understanding of what people like and enhanced their social skills by interacting with so many people. Not only that, but we've all contributed to a vast community while supporting and enriching a game played by millions.

STOP EXAGGERATING!

Of course, I'm not saying that blogging will get me into Cambridge. But it might help, just a little. Even if not that, it's something I've loved doing. And if you talk about what YOU'VE done and learnt on your CV/application/resume, in the right way, then you're improving your chances of success. It doesn't matter that it's an online activity which requires minimum physical effort. If you dedicate a part of yourself to PMC, pursue what you enjoy and blog/build/texture/skin as much as you can, you may get to the stage where it's an experience worth talking about. God knows, Hypixel and Disco_ certainly must have a great deal to say for themselves in front of employers. Like them, you can publish your creations so easily and get them seen by so many people. They used this website to their advantage, and so can you.

Remember the phrase, "Work hard, play hard"? Well, put those things together and see what you get. What do you think? Feel free to rant at me in the comments!

This isn't just another blog saying "BUDDER IS SOO BAD". I'm not spamming around "OMG OMG OMG STAWP SAYNG BUDDER!". What I'm going to do today is politely explain why the Gold item in Minecraft should be called by its proper name. The term butter or "budder" used to describe Gold was first popularized by SkyDoesMinecraft, a very popular YouTuber who does Lets Plays and other videos. Lots of people started calling Gold "butter" or Gold Armor "budder armor". However, after a while, the novelty wore off, and people started getting annoyed by the people (usually noobs) still insisting that Gold was butter. So I ask you, if you are a person that still calls Gold butter or budder, please remember that you are viewed as a noob by some people, and it might help your Internet popularity, (especially on YouTube) if you started calling Gold by its proper name. Thanks for reading, and please check out my other rants and stuff on my profile!

I'm so sorry once again for forgetting, I've been really busy with schoolwork. (I'm homeschooled, I have work to do all year round) I'll try my hardest to submit stuff more frequently from now on.

Today I will be talking about you people who are still on level one. This information can be helpful, I guess. I see a lot of people on level one still living in the streets of WhereEverland and only few trying to get somewhere. These people who at least try to get to level two (or to two), I know how hard it is but you got to try harder.

Ok kids and murderers, try making a blog or skin because thats the easiest way to get somewhere, its what I did before I made it in PMC and got up eight levels in one day to level eleven (a friend on PMC reminded me of day one of success, hi Riverius). If youo re going to do a blog don't do the opposite of what SoggyTractor was trying to say last week. Make interesting blogs unlike just writing that you just got a subscriber (or 100). This is the second longest story or whatever you call them.

If you get frustrated making a skin or blog have a Snickers because youo re not yourself when youo re hungry. Brought to you by Coca-Cola and Robco.

Decided I would do a server review after a couple weeks of nothing but texture packs. I had Fanjawi help me pick this one out and he's got a good eye. First thing I want to say is that this is a Towny server, which means that survival is the least concern. Rather, you'll be working your way towards riches and a good house instead of digging out the materials. The thing I like most about this server is their variety of ranks. This adds some variation to the game play as well as making you feel accomplished and break away from the basic set of ranks like Member, VIP, etc. Everything is well designed and there is so much to do including some custom gameplay options like the Wither Nest.

However, the one thing that really concerns me is that finding out staff is a bit tricky. I only knew of the lead admin and the owner, the rest were a bunch of ranks. In addition, it seems to lag a lot in the spawn area and I'm not sure if this was client or server side. Given I was hardly lagging on any of the other servers; I'll say it's most likely the server. The shops are a bit confusing as you have to use warp gates that either take you to an "official" spot or some poorly made plot.

Final Score: 8.5/10

Not bad, just needs some work done here and there. You can check them out here: Blockville

Hello there, I'm OnlyIn5D and today I will show you an idea that I have been working on for a bit. Now we all have seen the epic renders that have been used for popular building projects. It's not hard making a good looking render, but there is something that I feel is missing. Taking screenshots in minecraft and then editing them or rendering a picture with software like chunky is never taken too far. I'm trying to change that and show you all a new side of Minecraft photography.

"Minecraft Photography? What the hell OnlyIn5D, this makes no sense, don't bring real life things like photography into Minecraft, it can't be done!o You might think this but I'm certain that you can bring photography rules and concepts into Minecraft. Things like 'Rule of Thirds' can be easily implemented into Minecraft. You probably have no idea what I'm talking about, but just hear me out.

Anyway, stop reading and enjoy these pictures:

How do these submissions get in The PMC Times? Do they get submitted or do you look around and think "Oh hey, I should add this to The PMC Times!"
