James was an ordinary survivalist, who ventured out and explored the everlasting land that awaited before him. Every day, he would go out from his small home town Taeru, with his pick and sword stationed ready for whatever awaited him. He would venture down into the deepest part of unmarked territory, and come home with his trouser pockets bulging with goods from the unknown lands. And every night, everyone would gather around a campfire and listen to the tales of James the Survivalist. Of how he braved the moaning zombies and the hissing creepers. And how he would return, unscathed with riches that the mobs 'guarded' in the caves. However, this all came to a jerked halt, when one of James's adventures went terribly wrong. For quite some time, there had been suspicion arising in Taeru about a cave system, known as 'Blockcore'.

According to legend, this cave system generates itself once every 48,500 months, 27,135 exact blocks south. In this cave is tons of riches. At the lowest possible altitude of 'Blockcore', lies a massive stock of diamonds, iron, gold. It's nothing but a survivalist's dreamland. Tales also tell that whoever ventures deep into this cave system becomes contaminated. Their blood is infused with an incredibly venomous powder given off by the heart of Blockcore in a split second, known to man as 'Gaidokon' which kills anyone who becomes infected in a mere 6,000 ticks. James knew that this was going to be a tough challenge, but why should he; James the Survivalist, be afraid of a cave system because of some rumour? James leapt onto his trusted steed and friend and was off in a flash, going to prove that he could tackle the harsh conditions of 'Blockcore'. It was going to be long. It was going to be feisty and tough, but James handled dungeons which were bigger than Cliff Tarno. He was prepared for anything.

Night began to fall, and James was seeing the mobs beginning to spawn. Was it him? Or did it seem colder, and were mobs spawning twice their usual rate? James shook it off and continued forwards. James suddenly jerked and stopped, and put his hand over his eyes. Blinding rays of light were emitting from the distance, forming an arch around what must be...Blockcore. James suddenly felt a rush of excitement and took off at full speed, while keeping his head low to avoid the lights. Closer and closer he came, until he stopped. There it was, Blockcore. The dungeon that many entered, but none came out. James leapt off his steed and placed down two fence posts, stacked on top of each other and hooked a lead around the top-most fence post and around his steed. Then, he drew his pickaxe, and jumped into the cave. He fought through many mobs and mined as much as he could. This particular dungeon was different, as the stone was slightly tinted a glowing green-red. James was fascinated, but as soon as he stopped to look more closely at the stone, he felt an arrow to the back, and stumbled down a large hole. He landed with safety, although clinging on to the last thread of his life. He fell backwards and stacked it over a slab. James got back up. Upon getting back up, James felt a tingling sensation in his arms, and his vision started to swirl and darken. James felt his way through the dungeon, until he stopped in his tracks and fell to the floor.
