Firstly. I would like to say that, this is just my opinion, and does not reflect the views of my server, my players, my subscribers or my friends. If you disagree with this blog, just ignore it. Everything here is a true story. Which I'll try and find valid proof for.
Now, I'm bringing this issue up because of a new server that's recently popped up (won't be naming, because I'm sure many can guess). Now, it's not a bad server, admittedly, I find it very impressive how quickly it has grown. However, I'm here to discuss something that this unnamed server needs to resolve quickly. Or they'll start to fall.
So, the owner (and some staff) have started accusing other server owners of stealing their players. Also, many people have been banned for this. Now, may I say that this is not on. You can't steal players, they are not your slaves. If players want to go on another server, then that is for them to decide, not yours. You're effectively starting a dictatorship. One definition of a slave is "one bound in servitude as the property of a person or household" now, basically, that means that they're owned without free will by somebody. So, if the server players belong to you, you could technically call them your slaves.
And if they're your slaves, that means that they're not playing on your server out of free will or enjoyment, but because they have no other options. Do you want your server to be this way? Do you want to silence (ban) everyone who objects to this, or tries to make a note of this. Welcome to the Minecraft version of a dictatorship. I can imagine, that one day every player on this server will be banned because they play on other servers, and every server will be accused of stealing their players.
So, on this server. Which again, I won't mention. The owner happened to read this blog, now before I tell you what happened, I would like to say. Firstly, I have edited this blog since then. However, above I am just making a point and giving constructive criticism, I am just trying to point out a fact and help this server to improve itself. So, if that's so bad then, maybe, yes I deserve to be banned, but at least for a valid reason.
Now, firstly. Was I disrespectful to the staff and Community. I don't think so, I tried to help them by pointing out something stupid they were doing. I don't know what's wrong with that to be honest. Moving on, the owner happened to see this and said " why does Jamie hate (server) ? cause if hes not banned hes getting banned" However, I don't think anywhere I mentioned that I hated this server, I just pointed out a fact. Anyway, I guess I'll miss this server, it was a reasonably nice place. And some of the staff are okay, but there are some that just ruin the whole server.
This server is essentially a dictatorship, they silence people who try to make an opposition to the way the country is run. They don't accept feedback, just ban people for pointing out what they're doing wrong. Probably, because they're to embarrassed by their stupidity, and so just silence the people who will oppose.

You can't just use players as a come and go, they're people man, and like before I was chill with all you guys, I get banned on woa, you or one of the staff say some bullshit about me, BOOM everyone on there hates me, tries ruining the servers I owned etc.
A few people who build on your server become staff on mine as we were friends, next minute *JODLUM STOLE PLAYERS, OMG STEALER, FUCK YOU BITCH* all I got for the following weeks, I had to be on that server I owned 24/7 just to make sure nothing happened, then it all settled down we was all chill again, I got unbanned, me and hoop had an argument, *boom again* banned for Disrespect and advertising (advertising the ban before) then they all hate me again, then now, people who i got along with on your server (ThuND3r, gethyped, you, velo, mlc and a few others) now ignore me and such other bullshit.
It's just fucking gay how people have server wars, minecrafts a game for fun not to see who can fucking get the most players on the server by bribing them with bullshit ranks and such. (every server does it) I don't fucking get it all anymore.
Don't forget what he said to Flushay.
Your server is a dictatorship. You don't give people choice, you just decide what they can or can't do. On your server, that is fine. However, you can't ban someone. (Me in this case) for expressing an opinion. And, yes I understand that you're going through "stress" but that doesn't mean you can take out your anger on the players on your server.
However, I would like to say. I didn't actually put anything disrespectful in the first rank. I just have to get my point out some how. I didn't put anything against your server in that rant, I just wrote about how you can't steal players from servers, which you did do quite often. Whether you do still accuse people of stealing your players or not, I don't mind.
It wasn't actually about your server. I just used your server as an example, because unfortunately it's something some of your staff have done in the past. However, don't worry. Everyone makes mistakes, and I'll let it pass. However, I wouldn't describe this rant as stupid. Yes, maybe in the original post I shouldn't have used your server as an example. My intention of ranting about this is to teach other server owners about things they shouldn't do if they want to run a good server. I wasn't being disrespectful to your staff and community by posting your server in the blog. I was just hoping that you or your staff would read it so that they realize what they did wrong.
Anyway, I'm not going to argue about this anymore. If you want to ban me for having an opinion, that's fine. It is your server after all, however, you can't just silence people if they say something negative about your server. You should use that criticism as advice to make your server a better place for all of the players. Take it from me, I have my own server, and have been admin on four, and developer on one. Two of which I am still staff on.
And, as I said. It is your server. You do what you want. If you pay for it, you're entitled to do what you want with it. I just have to point out in this rant that, everyone has a right to an opinion. Giving constructive criticism is a good thing, yet you ban me for it. Anyway, as I've already said. Paying for the server gives you the right to wrongly ban people for expressing their opinion, a freedom that everyone should have a right to. It's just not morally correct. Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for speaking up for his beliefs. Just as I am banned for speaking up my beliefs, outside of the server.
I'm not worried about being banned from your server, I play on about 30 other servers. I'm admin on one, developer on one and owner of my own server. Anyway, goodbye. I've said what I had to say. But please, don't come crying to me when your server fails, not because it's a bad server, but because everyone is banned for expressing their right to free speech. One day you could be a good owner, just after you've stopped banning everyone.
