After clearing out a cave of mobs, I decided it would actually make a pretty nice home. I sealed off the parts that were leading into unexplored areas, added a bed and some staples of an MC home (Crafting table, Furnace, etc.) and made it into a rather nice place to live.



Sure, it ain't good-looking but it's still effective. Plus, since it's underground, I almost never have any monsters attacking in the middle of the night.



(Although I did get a duck in here. Don't ask how, it just....appeared there? I dunno, but it lays eggs. So I leave it be.)



There's a water pouring in the side of it in a small hole, not seen in this shot. Basically, when I want to get back to the surface, I swim upwards through the water and work my way to the surface. It's quite convient, really, and it's a short swim so I never drown.

It should also be noted I had this was made COMPLETELY in Survival Mode, and with NO mods on top of that. And I played on Normal 90% of the time, so I had to find and fight for all of my resources the hard way.



Anyway, it was a triumph, I'm making a note here, huge success...It's really an effective home.
