Hello everybody! Today I'm going to post a blog about various things about Minecraft that only a few people know about! To start with, I must say my English might not be perfect, because I'm Dutch, not English. Also, you might already know some of these things, since there isn't anything about Minecraft that is entirely secret, except for the password of notch's account. Lets get started! One of the most useless and also one of the most recently added secrets is that:
And:
Talking about sheep:
But WAIT, there's more!
- when you name a mob Dinnerbone or Grumm with any method (e.g. renaming a spawn egg, name tags, etc), they will turn upside down.
And:
- When you name a sheep "Jeb_", without the quotation marks, it will turn into a RAINBOW SHEEP! (The game will remember the original color for when you shave it/mate it with another one)
Talking about sheep:
- When you mate two compatible-colored sheep, (Sheep of which their corresponding dye colors would mix,) Their lamb will have the two colors combined! (Incompatible sheep will just have a random color from one of the parents)
- There are two 'extra' horses coded in the game, that do NOT naturally appear. These are the Zombie horse and the Skeleton horse. You can still spawn them with commands.
- the enderdragon always spawns at coordinate 0,0. (In the end, that is!).
- When you make a superflat world and set the biome to Sky (The biome name for the End biome, left from the abandoned Skyland dimension), the Enderdragon WILL spawn at coords x:0, Y:(Something), z:0.
- endermen and spiders both have separate texture files for their glowing eyes. (And so does the Enderdragon).
But WAIT, there's more!
- Since item frames are technically entities, it IS possible, with map editors, to place them partially on one block, and partially on another! (Same for paintings).
