I have seen many people complaining about updates and I think that those people are just ungrateful.



Some people complain about updates because they think that some feature in the update doesn't fit to Minecraft. I think that Mojang knows well enough what fits in Minecraft and what doesn't.


Some people complain about "useless" features. I don't see the point of complaining about those if it's useless it's probably easy to ignore.


Some people complain about that the update doesn't bring anything big that will change the game. If the update would bring something big that changes the game most people would complain about that the update changes the game too much and is "game breaking".


Some people complain about that Mojang doesn't listen to community. Mojang has added few community suggested features. I think that it's good that Mojang doesn't add much community suggested features because if they would add every community suggestion we would have:
-Herobrine
-Guns
-Cars
-Tanks
-Emerald tools
-Butter biomes
-Nyan cats
That's why I'm glad that they don't add everything that community suggests.


Every update that I have seen has made the game better although I first didn't like 1.5 mostly because it brought much bugs and I don't use redstone. But then the bug fix update came for 1.5 and it turned out to be really nice update. I didn't end up using those features much but many redstoners liked it. I learned that features that I wasn't interested in can be much fun for someone else.


The thing I find most annoying is that people say "This is not what we wanted" if Mojang adds something that community has wanted for long time:
Community: We want update with these features!
Mojang adds the features that community wanted
Community: This is not what we wanted! We hate it!

I understand that there will be features that you won't like so much but Minecraft is for everyone not just for you. Be patient if 1.6 won't bring you the features you want maybe some of the later updates will.
