Do you want to see a Minecraft movie? Most fans of the game would probably say yes. Well, it looks like it is happening. The Minecraft title will be made into a movie. The news was confirmed by Minecraft’s creator himself, Markus “Notch” Persson on his Twitter account after rumors of a movie surfaced.
Persson says, “Someone is trying leak the fact that we’re working with Warner Brothers on a potential Minecraft Movie. I wanted to be the leak!” Don’t get too excited yet. Just because a movie is in development doesn’t mean that it will actually get made. It happens all of the time. Movies in development often get shelved for one reason or another. Keep your fingers crossed if you are looking forward to it.
It will be interesting to see how they can make a movie out of this title. Hopefully it has some actual plot and is worth watching. Minecraft has no true ending, or much of a plot. Let’s hope they make a good one if this movie gets made. I wonder who would star in this.
