I’ve been writing the majority of the lore for the Chaos Legion for about 5 months as of making this blog, and I realize that I mention a lot of our weapons without describing them. So, in this blog, I’m covering all the main weapons we use in our fight against the Astral Beasts. As always with lore guides, hope it’s helpful!

Plasma Weapons
Plasma Blaster
Weapons of Anarchy
The plasma blaster is one of the two standard-issue weapons every Infantryman gets upon joining the Chaos Legion. (We deliver them in a “starter” package that also contains an electro-machete, communicator, appropriately-sized uniform, and two refill packs.) Some soldiers may also carry two of them for dual-wielding. It is powered by four energy cells, parts of which are visible from the outside of the weapon, and each lasts for 100 shots. These energy cells allow the weapon to fire plasma bursts that can do about as much damage to an Astral Beast as a normal gun would to a PMCer. All soldiers, regardless of rank, are expected to carry at least two refill packs on them at all times to input new energy cells when all have run out. This weapon’s firing rate is 1100 rpm, and to fire it, you simply pull the trigger. All of the Chaos Legion’s standards weapons, which is essentially just plasma weapons and electro-machetes, are manufactured at the Yellow District Weapon Manufacturing Plant (YDWMP), which is overseen by High Battlemaster ClayMan1077 (Clay). The production rate of these weapons, which are produced and checked by automated machines, is an average of 1000 per day, which is more than enough. As for the energy cells that power them, the factory makes ~990 of them each day.

Plasma Rifle
Weapons of Anarchy
The plasma rifle is a standard-issue weapon supplied to anyone above the Infantryman rank (Commanding Infantryman and up). Thus, it is used by the majority of the higher-ranking soldiers in the Chaos Legion. Some people may also choose to carry two of them. Compared to a plasma blaster, it is larger, about the size of an assault rifle, and has a scope for targeting. There are straps for anyone who wants to attach them, and laser sights are also available for anyone who wants to equip them to the underside of the barrel; the same goes for bayonets (we use laser blades, by the way) and flashlights (which go above the barrel). Like all plasma weapons, it is powered by energy cells. However, unlike plasma blasters, these guns only use three cells, and they’re twice as large as the regular ones used in blasters. Being two times the size, each lasts 200 shots. The plasma bursts are also much stronger and can do a lot of damage to a foot soldier (or flyer) and slightly more to a bruiser. All soldiers, regardless of rank, are required to carry at least two refill packs on them at all times. The firing rate of the plasma rifle is 1400 rpm. All of these plasma weapons are manufactured at the Yellow District Weapon Manufacturing Plant (YDWMP), with an average production rate of 1100 per day. In terms of energy cells, the rate is ~1000. A variant of this weapon also exists in the form of the plasma beam rifle, which is described in the next section.

Plasma Beam Rifle
Weapons of Anarchy
The plasma beam rifle is virtually the same as the plasma rifle, but with a modified firing mechanism that makes it so that you can only fire it by holding down the trigger to release a beam of plasma that progressively damage something. The barrel is also altered, now having a slightly different shape and being slightly longer and thinner. This weapon is not a standard-issue one, but they are available at all armories for anyone who wishes to swap out their plasma rifle or wield both types at the same time (like ClayMan1077). The rate of production is the same as its normal counterpart. Its rate of fire is 550 rpm, which is half the firing rate of its normal version.

Plasma Cannon

Plasma cannons are powerful tools, given as standard-issue weapons only to Battlemasters and higher. They are bulkier and more reinforced than other guns, and they have a much larger barrel that allows for large, destructive blasts that can end the lives of multiple foot soldiers and once and take down bruisers in two shots. They are certainly a force to be recolored with, and are so heavy that they need to be held with both arms. The back handle, with the trigger, is for the wielder’s dominant hand, and the front one is for their other hand. Underneath the body of the cannon are three tubes for the energy cells that power it. These tubes are made to allow to drop in three energy cells (per each one), and when one runs out, it is discharged via a small hatch under the weapon. (Don’t worry, the cell casing is biodegradable.) The cells are the same type used for plasma rifles, but that doesn’t mean it can fire a max of 1800 shots without reloading; to fire the powerful blasts that it does, the plasma cannon uses 3 shots at a time, meaning it can only fire 600 shots (1800/3 = 600). Regardless of how many shots it can fire, this weapon packs a punch, and it’s sure to turn the tide of any battle. (Also the firing rate is 6 rpm.)

Plasma Gatling Gun

The plasma gatling gun is, as its name suggests, a gatling gun powered by plasma cells. Up there with the plasma cannon as one of the Chaos Legion’s two primary heavy weapons, it is also only available to the Battlemaster rank and above. Each one has 6 barrels that each rapidly fire pellets of plasma when the trigger is pulled. (Said trigger is, of course, located on the rear handle.) Since the weapon is heavy, it has a second handle to hold with your non-dominant hand. In terms of fuel, it uses 6 extra-long plasma cells that (obviously) hold more power. Four of the cells are inserted via slots under the body of the gun, while the remaining two is put in through a hatch on the back. These cells are manufactured at the YDWMP with an average daily output of 1000. With all 6 cells, the gatling gun can fire a max of 2000 shots, with a firing rate of 3000 rpm. I try not to recommend stuff here or give my personal opinions, but if you were about to face 5 bruisers in an arena and had to choose between the cannon and the gatling gun to fight them, the gatling gun would be better choice. (Just ask CesarCarter; he has one that’s painted green.)

Plasma Gun

For those wishing to have a smaller weapon, the plasma gun (or handgun, if you use “plasma gun” to refer to all plasma weapons) is perfect. While it’s only good at close range, it’s still a great choice if you want to deliver small, powerful blows to your opponents. It’s essentially the same as a normal handgun (think of it as a plasma-ified Glock), but powered by 10 small plasma cells, which each allow for two shots, granting the weapon a total of 20 rounds. The gun’s firing rate is 20 rpm, so you should probably carry a few extra packs of cells for reloading. The manufacturing rate of plasma guns is 1000 per day, and the same amount applies to the plasma cells.

Electro-Machete

Every Infantryman, upon joining the Chaos Legion, is given an electro-machete for close combat. The frame is built around a conductor rod, which is connected to a dial on the hilt. Lowering the dial all the way to the bottom of the slider shuts off the electrical flow, making the weapon a regular machete. Raising it to level 1 slightly energizes it, allowing you to zap whatever you hit with 100 volts of electricity. Level 2 is 500, and level 3 is 1000, the highest the weapon can go. (The diagram above has it on level 3; ignore the slider position.) 1000 volts is enough to kill a foot soldier in one shot. The manufacturing rate of electro-machetes is 1000 per day on average, and they are made at the Yellow District Manufacturing Plant.

Communicator

The communicator is yet another standard-issue piece of equipment for members of the Chaos Legion. As phones are too easy to trace, we use these much-harder-to-track devices to communicate with each other. It has a band attached to it, as you wear it like a watch. On the communicator is a blue screen and a dark green keyboard,** and in the top right corner is a small projector for hologram projections. Upon tapping the screen, you are prompted to enter a 6-digit password, which you can set yourself when you get your device, which will allow you to use it. The screen you are immediately shown after logging in is the Messaging app, which has a list of all your chats. Each chat has a code, which the creator sets. In the example shown above, which is my communicator, two chats are visible: PVT-LGN (Private Legion) and SPRT-PRG (Spartan Program). On the other end of the card is the amount of people in the chat and the amount of messages that have been sent in it. To use the Messaging app, you must make a contact for yourself. Your contact card shows your profile picture, your preferred name, your occupation (in the case of the Legion, we put our rank abbreviations), your contact number, and any additional notes. Everyone can also set a color for themselves, which determines the color of your message bubbles. The other app on the communicator is the Files app, which is where any images or documents you have on your computer can be accessed. (You can link your account.) In the case of the higher-ranking members, they can also access all of the private high command files.

yo btw volts does not say anything about the power of the electricity. volts is the transmission of the electrons, and not the power. You can search it up, it's hard to explain. what should be better to use would be "watt" as that signifies the power of electric energy. also I hate being a nerd, but what do you mean with "plasma" pellets? (No offense bro, these are really cool concepts)

I'll edit it later lol

Basically the pellets are little energy balls

The plasma in the lore is different from what it is IRL lol
