What the hell is Bukkit doing.
As you all could have seen, Bukkit has been saying that they are working really hard on getting all the code done for the 1.7.2 update. But as a developer, I most likely try to keep up with all the changes they are doing to the Bukkit code. But I haven't seen any progress in all the original code. The most recent changes made to that code are from the time before 1.7.2 came out. Now my question rises! Is Bukkit lying to us?
Spigot what's that?
For many of you who might not know, Spigot is something like Bukkit, but way more faster. It's also more reliable. These are the servers that also make you able to use bungeecord. This is still a more smaller community than bukkit. They already made an update to the server and people who allready have 1.7.2 can connect to the server.What is bukkit doing to his community?
What are our possibilities now?
Well I've been thinking about this for a long time now, but I think the biggest minecraft community should start making its own server system. We as a team can do this. I'm tired of waiting on Bukkit so we really need to do something. I want to lead this project if it can be possible. We can do better things than Bukkit and Spigot because we are PlanetMinecraft. It's time to stop and watch those silly guys mess around and do nothing. It's time to stand on our own legs.
