In minecraft the zombies and skeletons etc. are relevantly scary to the game... But the enderman is not...
He is just a stack of black blocks with purple dots.. The only scary part is the noise he makes when he dies.
He literally just chases you with whatever block he may have grabbed. It looks like he is a hobo looking for a donation.
I believe this is what he should look like to help intensify the minecraft experience
