It happened so suddenly... what was once a land of people turned upside down...
This is the story of Steve, Steve was like any other human going through daily tasks like studying, playing, sleeping. But of course, Steve couldn't possibly complete every single task handed to him by his parents and teachers as he is still but a child. Steve has always wanted to be a miner just like his father and would read a book of mining and surviving. His parents loved him for what he was despite the fact that he is a mute, he would communicate with everyone using signs or books and Steve was happy.
But happiness doesn't last forever. Steve woke up to the ringing of his alarm clock, he got ready for school and greeted his parents goodbye. Little did he know that it was going to be his last time greeting them goodbye. On his way to school, Steve saw what seems to be a green creature running from tree to tree, this creature seems to be following him. "What a creep" Steve thought to himself, he then continued his journey to school and something came to him at light speed. FWOOP! It missed Steve and hit the tree behind him. Steve quickly turned around to see what it was... a pickaxe? Who would throw a pickaxe? He then took the pickaxe out and examined it closely.
Out of consciousness, Steve went digging and mining. He dug and mined deeper into the core of the Earth, deeper...deeper...deeper...until it was all pitch black...
tik...tak...tik...tak... Steve awoke to the sound of rain just beside of him. When Steve opened his eyes he saw something bizzare, he noticed how the rain and snow is split between 2 types of... well... regions. Wait... snow? What was he doing in a snowy place? Steve shook his head trying not to think so much, he needed to get to school. So Steve ran and ran and ran and finally noticed that all his stuff, his personal items, everything is gone. Not only that but he also realized that he seems to have grown taller and bigger in size, he's still unable to speak though. Confused, Steve went and try to find help.
As he was running around he heard the sound of what seems to be a cow mooing. He turned to find a cow looking at him, mooing. Steve was more confused as he remembered that all the cows in his town were killed just for a farm. Ignoring the cow, Steve used his survival tactics to find help.
Days passed and Steve was exhausted, in his hand is a sword. He met with creatures he has never seen before in his life, well except for one. The Creeper, Witch, Skeletons, Slime and even Zombies. Steve came to a village later that day, he saw a sight he has never seen before too, villagers and iron golems working together. As Steve recalled, villagers would have war with iron golems anually so why are they working together now? Steve walked around the village and tried to ask for help but the villagers all would just look at him, just like every single thing that Steve met, Pigs, Wolves, Ocelots.
"What's happening?" Steve wondered, only to find answers in the distant future. Or will he? Steve came across a book in one of the villagers house, it was a diary, a diary with a familiar name and handwriting. It was his father's diary.
Steve sat down, reading the diary, it started off at the year 1900, the year Steve was borned. It was all normal stuff until the year 1909. It started off like any other day until he had a call from the headmaster of Steve's school, the headmaster told him that Steve didn't come to school that day. Then it was all the missing child stuff just like in the movies. In the year 1920, Steve's father was dying from age and it was at that time when he heard an explosion. The explosion came from the town's lab. At first it was a normal explosion, everyone thought they would be safe. How wrong were they... as days passed, people started dying from the radioactive gas released from the explosion but they didn't stay dead, they turned.
SLAM! Steve shut the book hard, he realized now what has happened... no... he only realized what has happened to the world, the explosion made everything change. But what was it that happened to him? He needed to find out why he is in the future and what happened to him in the time span between 1909 and 1923, Steve set out on a journey to find the truth.

Also some things raised questions: How old was steve´s father? 20 years after steve´s born sounds to quick for me. Okay maybe it is more likely in 1900. Missing child stuff? what was it like in 1900, seems to rushed up.

i actually haven't made any pixel art for a long time, i'm not sure if i can do it anymore. and 3d? well tats kinda of a whole new level for me haha
