Intro
When you start a server you always thing:
"What should this server be?"
So I'm going to give some server types and a bit about them then ill help you decide
Server types
Factions: Factions is where you make bases and raid each other. The main plugins are normally Factions, MassiveCore and Essentials pack.
Clans: Clans is like factions The main plugins are normally SimpleClans and Essentials pack.
Prison: Prison is where you make mines and players mine ores and other stuff to sell then rankup. The main plugins are normally Rankup, MineResetLite and Essentials pack
Kitpvp: Kitpvp is where you are in a big map and you choose a kit, jump into the map and pvp with others. The main plugins are normally KitsPreview, Multiverse-Core (for downloading a map) and Essentials pack.
War: War is where you make games like CTF and TDM for people to have wars! Its is easy to setup and is very fun for you and your friends to play. The main plugins are normally War and Essentials pack.
Towny: Towny is where you make towns as a team, have wars with other towns and just hangling out with your friends. The main plugins are normally Towny, Questioner, Townychat, Vault and Essentials pack.
Minigames: Minigames is just some games which you play with friends. The main plugins depend on what games you have.
Creative: Creative is where you get a plot of land and you build whatever you want in creative. The main plugins are normally Plotme, Plotme-DefaultGenerator, Mulitverse-Core and Essentials pack.
SkyBlock: They block is where you get an island and you have to survive with whatever is in the chest. The main plugins are normally JoeSkyBlock (or any other skyblock plugins), OreGenerator and Essentials pack.
Vanilla: Vanilla is just single player but online. There are no plugins although you may give /home and /sethome for donators.
Tekkit: Tekkit is basically vanilla but with the mod tekkit.
Pixelmon: Pixelmon is a online minecraft pokemon game. There are usually no plugins but you may want to add extra stuff to make it more exciting.
Hub/BungeeCord: Hub is where you have different servers all in one. You either use world on one server (Multiverse pack) or you connect different servers to a hub server (BungeeCord).
What server type is best for me?
I am going to give a few quotes with numbers on. If that quote is for you then look at the number then scroll down and look for the number of the quote that matchs the type of server!
